Happy enough with the players that are outbound so far. Shows we are not willing to resign people due to sentiment and are now looking at players purely from a performance standpoint. Pretty sure Gentle and Bomber talked about the players out of contract and whether any were worth signing again.

Don't get frustrated, its not worth it.
It maybe the case that he only conceded slightly more than other players, but the one's he gave away were often for stupid reasons and needless he was easy to wind up. Opposition players started to pick him out for that reason.
There was a lot of flapping and bluster with him but not what you'd call real aggression. Look at some of O'Meley's big hits by way of comparison.

I'd be very suprised if Lauaki is anywhere close to Willie Manu for tackle busts. That said, Manu plays a lot more minutes. I am with you on this, though, I do believe Lauaki could go well at Wigan if they have him as a wide running second rower running wide lines against opposition centres, rather than shunting him up the middle. |

Oh the days of the awesome foursome. As for Lauaki he just doesn't cut it for me, didn't think he was that great last night either, he may take a few to stop him but he is also very slow to get up and ptb. Think we should have got more out of him coach wise but also from him himself as never really seems to run it in 100% all the time. As has been said he is pretty much average and I am sure we can use his spot much better. |
