All will be ok when Calderwoods back. Should get his chance to move infield then IMO. But it's already been said by the club and Whiting himself that he will be a centre this year.

That is the problem isnt it, he is so solid in defence that we would I am sure suffer badly if we moved him away from that area at present...
Calders will make up some slack if he plays again but thats so far off and who else do we have !!
He does look a class act this year doesnt he!!, boy what did we miss through all those injured months, well done the club for sticking by him!!

Absolutely spot on by Agar. Whiting seems to relish the opportunity to pull on the jersey, regardless of where he's picked to play, and put in 100%, delivering borderline MOM performances weekly. We've got attitudinal role models in the team in Fitz, O'Meley and Whiting IMO - if all followed their example, we could be pushing for top 4.

I know some of the local players think Whiting is an Agar favourite , but even they must see the plaudits were deserved last night.

Whiting always gives 110% and looks commited to the cause, he is a great player and aa you say has a great rugby brain, we need to get him signed up on a long term deal ASAP.

Maybe the local players thinking that should look at their own performances and challenge themselves to put the effort it.
