Always is. If you get to the GF (I know, but we did once) it would have to be late October to be post season, and the overseas players go home so they have it before the end of the regular season AFAIK.

Completely disagree. If the players have done something to warrant a suspension then they should be named. This is exactly the sort of approach that has been lacking at this club and the reason players think they can get away with whatever they want. I wont be making any judgements on the players concerned until the facts are known but if their actions warranted a suspension then the club are right to name and shame.

Hull is within its rights to name the players. If after investigation they are found not guilty of any wrong doing that will be publicised. If they are found to have harmed the club or brought it into disrepute by their actions I hope they are sacked. It's that simple. If by home goal you mean own goal I don't think it's the club that have scored one by the sounds of it.

If the club had not released the names it would lead to protracted speculation on their identities and people would criticise the club for not being open.

I believe the lack of subtely is a plan by the club. Naming and shaming the players is going to help put the pressure on them to perform otherwise they become very unpopular. If I was Tommy Lee, the last thing I would want is an excuse for some below par performance for the last few years. Alternatively, there is an element of releaving the pressure of Agar by putting into the public the lack of professionalism by some of the squad.

I think it boils down to people in desperate situations make desperate decisions!
