A VERY lucky win tonight, if Wakefield had kicked their goals we were beaten, they didn't, we weren't. We have capitulated twice in two games, that isn't good, but we won.

Glad for the two points, but for the 4th game on the trot a really poor 2nd half (or at least a poor spell,l. Hopefully this win will give the players some confidence.

8 of the other 11 teams have played less games than us so not really a reasonable comparison

Just got back in from Wakey and got to say we got out of jail tonight and were lucky. Yet again we get into a decent lead and controlled the game in the 1st half other than the first 5 mins. Then the 2nd half we just didn’t come out switched on again. Concerned that Radford seemed to think it was a good performance and Wakefield not getting credit for being a very good side. As good as Wakey were in 2nd half we were once again pretty poor and let them back into the game with errors being compounded by penalties. Also our inability to stop them off loading was almost criminal.

Why can’t we just keep a lead in the 2nd half or kill off the opposition. It’s just not good enough, however at least we regrouped and played the first set well in golden point to give Sneyd the opportunity to win it.
A win is a win but it just papers over the cracks as we were lucky in the end not to lose after the continued inability to play for 80.
