Yeah I struggled to see how Tommy L didn't knock it on. When he's stood facing forward and just bats the ball straight down it's gutting to see it not given as a knock on.

Couldn't get there tonight. On TV I thought the same as you initially but the replay showed he clearly knocked it backwards - it was a good call.

another reason why the champions should be the team that tops the league.neither hull or wigan are champion material.to average teams who should be playing for next season now.dispite a short turnaround we should be beating mediocre rubbish like wigan at home.but we cant ever seem to play well at home.

I'm not a lover of lane, but I thought he did ok tonight, I'm not sure people appreciate the knocks a rugby player takes, to back up up and play like that after 5 days is very hard, even the wigan players commented on it, am sure people who say its no problem havnt played the game or seen the players after a hard game, yea we made mistakes so did wigan but it was still a cracking game, cant ask for more

we all have our opinions, Mediocre teams ok, I assume by your posts you've never played the game, or grasp the basics, I know we all see things different but some of your comments well,

I thought the same about the Wigan knock down but regardless of if it was our wasn't a knock on it was a supremely dumb play to try and offload in those circumstances.

It wasn't like Fash was being forced back over his own line or in a position where an offload would create a clear attacking opportunity. It was a poor decision that allowed the ref to give Wigan the benefit of the doubt and ultimately cost us a try and the game.

Why was he a joke?
most of his decisions were correct.
A couple of touch judge interventions which he has to act upon
If we had won he wouldnt have got a mention

Cant fault the effort but our ability to pass the ball is pathetic. Passing out wide and went to every pair of hands, its embarrassing. Core skills just lacking, and so easy to defend against

Wigan are not going to lose many games in the run in and I can't see past a Saints v Wigan GF.

Wigan's defence was exceptional tonight there was a spell when Hull had set after set after set but still Wigan didn't crack. In the end all Hull had to show was a Taylor barge over. Closing down the Sneyd DG attempts showed real determination I haven't seen another team able to do that.

Half of Wigan's pack were teenagers but goodness they are tough and they are going to be some team next year. You didn't see it tonight but they can also play some brilliant attacking rugby.

Hull were good opponents but I think 3rd is Wigan's for the taking now.

Beat ourselves tonight...again

Wigan were there for the taking tonight, even after the short turnaround. Too many dropped balls in the opposition half or halfway and a daft offload on our own 10

Credit wigans' defence, it was fantastic, but other than that, like us, average!

No issues with the ref tonight either thought he was pretty fair to both sides.

There was no doubting our intensity and energy levels either tonight thought they were good, so not looking at the 5 day turnaround as an excuse, we matched Wigan in that department tonight. Full credit to the boys.

Again what did us was dumb play, errors, the usual slow ptb allowing Wigan to close us down and on the whole thought our goal line D was good but again too slow moving up and why oh why was no pressure applied to their kickers especially for the drop goal, there was only Taylor that really tried in that department late on.

Brain fart from faraimo for the 8 point try, thought Green played well as did Fash.

Just think you’re very negative with the ball. Consider the amount of talent your backline has. Just seems like your waiting for the last to kick and not really using the ball before then.

Good hard fought game, maybe see you in the playoffs. Good luck!

The head high taackle on ellis he was looking straight at that was never given

The ball ripped out from mini by luluai with three in the tackle

The drop goal attempt that didnt touch griffin

Liam farell and sargison constantly laying on and slowing down the play the ball two probably three times, even the commentators commented on it

Wigan are very niggly and good at spoiling tactics if you cant see that your cheese has slid off your cracker

We were by no means good but thaler was crap and i think the refs have generally been alot better this year
