As an outside (God Forbid) I think it’s shocking that a club with the amount of support you get is languishing where it is.

With the income the club is realising you should be up there with the likes of Warrington & St’s, yet you’re scrapping about with the Wakefield’s of this world .

Blame the players if you like, or maybe blame the coach, but how many coaches & changes to the playing staff will it take to realise the problem lies with the owner & his scratchy decisions?

Story of the last 8 years. Is it really so difficult? Our last 4 coaches have been pretty dour people who certainly seem to lack any real enthusiasm themselves. Is this the problem?

I made a conscious decision a couple of years back to stop going to away matches. I used to go to most, which dwindled to the places I like going to and ones which weren't a ball ache to get to but I got sick of seeing us lose all the time so gave it up. I do miss the atmosphere but don't miss the wasted time, money and the frustration

Well, it's certainly part of it. I don't think it's lack of enthusiasm though. It's a combination of a lack of head coach experience and genuine leadership skills. The thing that probably concerns me as much as this, though, is what Ellis alludes to in the lack of mongrel/competitive edge-seeking across the club. We miss a rough-as-s prop, a niggly back rower like McMenemy, a nasty halfback seeking the advantage at every PTB.

Expectations are lower at Wakefield. That's the difference.
We are loving our rugby at the moment but we are pretty level with you.

What a desperate performance against a very poor salford side,for the 1st 20 mins we had all the posession and never looked like scoring. The attack is non existant and the defence is not good either,regardless of what is posted on here,conceeding 35 points to a poor side lacking their best attacking weapon (locke) says it all.
Radford is clueless,he admitted after a couple of early season defeats he said he didnt know how to put it right and he is still no wiser,cant decide what is his best team,horne still gets a game when fit and has become a liability,a great servant over the years but has been over the hill for the past 3 seasons.Pearson seems to be about as clueless as radford,talk about the blind leading the blind,radford said he would walk if he wasn't up to it,well he plainly isnt up to it,so please lee keep your word and do the honourable thing and walk.All the pre-season hype and look where we are and anyone know where the next win is coming from ?

To those who went did abdull come on and if so what position did he play? Also a girl I know has heavily criticized on social media tommy lineham saying he looks unfit totally uninterested lacking pace and this is a girl who has lineham on the back of both home and away shirts!! Was he really that bad?

As a Season Pass holder I'm paying for games whether I attend or not (and I will have attended a couple of games by season end). Also not sure why attendance at games is relevant when it comes to pointing out logical fallacies in posts. But hey ho - you carry on flinging your teddy if it makes you feel better.

That was readily apparent from the radio coverage. Deeply depressing stuff.

I think it was their penultimate try, Lineham (i think) dropped the ball, he and most of the rest of the team carried on ambling forward in slow motion. I stood literally with my mouth hanging open as I genuinely could not believe what I was watching as the salford player went and picked up the ball (our players STILL shuffling forwards up the pitch) and waltzed in. To say there was a lack of interest in that try was an understatement.

Maybe there are a number of players who know they're on the way out so can't be assed or maybe players know if they've had a poor first 60 minutes they'll be in the stands next week so don't really care about anything other than getting through a public lambasting from the coach?

Don`t think you are being fair on Salford with the jibes on this thread. They are improving fast.

It was a good game in very tricky conditions and the Hull comeback was immense. Give credit where its due - Houghton ran his socks off and was outstanding & the pack came back well after taking a smash in the first half.
