Cuddle Club Rules 1. You dont talk about Cuddle club 2. YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT CUDDLE CLUB!!!! PS3 tag = Robbo_4444:20348.jpg

The percentage play is to draw the fullback and pass the ball inside to the supporting player. On this occasion Yeaman decided to go for glory and then just dump the ball when he got tackled. Whether Pitts could have done better or not is immaterial as it should never have been that difficult in the first place and its a perfectly valid criticism of Yeaman.

OK, drama queen, its called having an opinion.

The fact is Yeaman should have passed it earlier in the run. Far earlier. He got it wrong, he would I'm sure say he did as well to be fair.

Yeaman ended up lobbing the ball back in field, with no idea were his players were (at that point). The fact that Pitts was even in the same vicinity of were it landed was about the only surprising bit. There was little chance of him picking it up cleanly.

Yeaman's error, plain and simple. Time to move on though... we won the game either way and it was overall (including Yeaman) a fantastic performance.

I agree, just saying that it should have been taken.

If we are going to get to the next level then all these thing matter. Yeaman should, in hindsight, have drawn the FB and passed, Pitts should have taken the ball and Holdworth shouldn't have dropped the ball cold and missed the kicks he did. Lots of little things to cut out.

No worse than those calling for him to be dropped.

Quote: Bal "The fact is Yeaman should have passed it earlier in the run. Far earlier. He got it wrong, he would I'm sure say he did as well to be fair.'"

In hindsight yes, but I'm not going to criticise him for backing himself, as I wouldn't any other of our players.

Pitts will be disappointed he didn't take the ball, of that I'm sure. Westerman took Crooks' pass at far greater speed and with less reaction time.

Yes it was Yeaman's error, but while it was the most glaring, it wasn't the only one made.

It is time to move on.

Holdsworths kicks are a bit of a concern but Tickle hasn't been up to his usual standard this year:

Holdsworth has kicked 22 from 28 = 78.6%
Tickle 15 from 19 = 78.9%

FWIW Jamie Foster is at 88% and Sinfield is at 86% (with Sinfield having kicked a lot more goals).

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club. Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you. "Rugby League is a simple game played by simple people. Rugby Union is a complex game played by wankers." L.Daley 2005:

Quote: Kosh "I'm not sure that criticism elsewhere - especially on the madhouse that is Twitter - is relevant to the discussion on this thread. Or if it is, then it would be helpful to be clear when referring to it. I naturally assumed that you were talking about the thread we were discussing.

I didn't say that you specifically had. But have a read of the thread and see the response of some other posters.

Our left hand side [ihas[/i been quiet generally. And I agree it's not all down to Yeamo. He is [ipart[/i of the problem though. The injury thing is true enough but supposes there was some form before injury to get back to. In attack Yeamo has been pretty ordinary all season.

I'm happy to leave that decision to Gentle. But I don't think there's quite as much between Arundel's form before his injury and Yeaman's form now as you do. Hence why I said it would be interesting to see what happens once Arundel is fit.

Of course he might come back with the kind of form he showed early season, in which case I wouldn't pick him for a Championship side let alone us. It's perfectly possible that Yeaman will still be our best option at left centre despite his faults.'"

He doesnt get back in as Yeamans form doesnt warrant him dropping. He backed himself and it didnt come off...looking at it again..Pitts was the only pass possible as DJ wasnt as close as i thought he was and he cost us points tonight by dropping the ball with a clear run.You dont rate Yeaman, never have, never will so your ever so slighly biased and if you want Arundle in over yeaman then get ready for a try fest down that channel.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason. -[i:1c45x4hd]Emmitt Smith[/i:1c45x4hd]:

I don't think he's lost as much pace as people are making out, don't forget the amount of defending he did seeing as he was covering Briscoe since about the 25th minute.

Never expected him to pass it but he could have at least put the grubber down or even chipped it back inside if he couldn't see his runners.

Didnt have this many pages after the London game when Yeaman put Briscoe away with a similar break.

I'm sure yeamo knows he should have done things differently, and I'm sure gentle and radders will remind him also.
We rely on his defence on the left , and he always gives everything he has.
He bombed the chance. Holdsworth missed some kickable conversions. These things happen. We still had a great win.
I just think its sad that after some great recent wins, the biggest thread is a negative one like this.

eastul105 wrote lets be fair Mickey Paea is too good for us.:

Quote: east hull FC fan "Considering the pass that Westerman took for his try, is it not fair to criticise Pitts for not taking the pass, rather than Yeamo?

You see, the thread is called 'Yeaman no pass' but of course, he did. He backed himself and when he realised he wasn't going to make it he threw it inside. Now, when you see the drills the players do before a game in the warm up and how Westerman took his pass from Crooks, I'd say Pitts is equally to blame.'"

I supported your defence of Yeamo but to say Pitts is equally to blame is ridiculous.

I can only conclude from that post, that you are not very bright.

At what point did my post say it was all down to one reason?

Do you think Briscoe's lack of service will not be a factor in him wanting to explore opportunities elsewhere to develop him as a player?
