| Quote: BP1 "Well, that was fun, was it not!!
They look like a team desperately wishing someone would announce that this season has been cancelled forthwith and we can all forget about any remaining fixtures and, quite frankly, they're not the only ones who feel that way!
I get an impression that virtually everyone connected to the club, in whatever capacity (including the long-suffering fan-base), would like the whole year to disappear down a large sink-hole. Watching that this afternoon, I wonder how much energy and fight is left in the tank for the remaining six games? which may turn into six very long games for all concerned.
Sounds like the other game this afternoon was a real bell-ringer. Think London will approach next week with energy and enthusiasm and right now I'm not sure we have the mind-set to meet them head on!'"
If we match there effort and enthusiasm we will win, if we don't it will be a long afternoon.

| Quote: Steve0 "I did say they've been two of our best players this half, which is a positive, and it did appear they were on the way out earlier in the season given they were both featuring regularly in reserves despite injuries/other out of form players starting ahead of them and we signed a fullback before he turned out to be a domestic abuser, and had agreed a deal for a PNG hooker before changing our mind after Balmforth actually got a shot in the first team and proved his worth, which I'm pleased with'"
we are in desperate need of a halfback, centre, and at least one big forward and the club sign a second tier PNG full back, and hooker before changing their minds.
Any of the faithfull tell me the logic there

All stems from a lack of leadership and how many years are we going to keep doing this??'"
what about trying a short kick off when the game is lost.
Not once but twice
then on the third attempt we get the ball
Where is the leadership? its not a practice game

| It's a patched up side with zero continuity, full of kids and loanees who are trying their best.
It's a clean slate for me next year so I don't see the point of much hand wringing at this stage.

Give over will you.
It's night and day between Grix and Smith.
What did you expect was going to happen with young kids, loan signings and players simply not good enough against a good Leigh team.

I appreciate there’s young lads and loanees in there, and it can’t be easy, but I’m truly fed up of these results happening towards the back end of the season.'"
TBF - You have a raft of injuries, doing it tough, and you're going through a transition phase also. Whether you're bringing the right player's in or not is for another debate. For me, criticizing isn't the right approach right now, and see how it pans out for the start of next season.

Where any of his trys Cartwrights fault, would have to watch them again, but don't remember at the time. Think he was off fir two of them also with a HIA.

I’m not just on about today….i just don’t rate him,he should have gone with Smith and Gene as he was part of the batterings,he is out of his depth, doesn’t call out senior players and,in my opinion a bully to the younger players…just my humble opinion.

| The good news is that both Aydin and Cartwright passed their HIAs.
So with Sao, Lane and Chamberlain back next week we might actually be able to put something of a pack out.

| I had the misfortune to be late in and turned it on at 16 - 12. It was a horror show after that. Too many players not putting the effort in again and shocking discipline

Fash too, our pack tired today we was fatigued late on, lots of penalties and defence first thirty, Cartwright impressed me, we struggled when he went off for HIA, we need the experience back next week, if no suspensions from this week some tough decisions for Grix on Saturday. I can see him resting Martin next week he's close to the minutes played scenario. People will bag Fash and Lane but we need more experience in the pack IMO. Walker did well at 6 I know he's not a natural but he makes breaks and yardage. Not sure on Chan, Gardiner and Jebson won't play next week. Ashworth can't be far off being back.
I'd go
Moy
Barron/Martin
Carlos
Chamberlain
Briscoe
Walker
Charles
Eseese
Smith
Aydin
Lane
Cartwright
Sao
Subs
Balmforth
Fash
Eseh
Ruan
