| Much better effort from the lads tonight!
This was always going to be another heavy defeat, so respect to them hanging in there. Saints had 65% possession tonight.
Discipline needs addressing urgently.
Hoping for improvement week on week from now onwards. I expect we’ll have 7-8 different players starting by the time we go to London, but not necessarily our youngsters making way.

| Didn't go tonight and I have to say that we have some great young talent at the club and they never gave up, and good on them for that but we just don't have any leaders on the field at all, as we have, year on year, systematically stripped the club of real quality experienced players and without them we will just go on like this, with the youngsters getting more and more jaded week on week. . It's blooming heart breaking for many of us, just how far we have sunk and how far we have now to go to get back up there!!! . Massive job ahead and looking at our new Director of rugby its plain to see he realises that and is probabaly wondering where do we start. Final comment on watching from home; that women commentator is diabolical! I had to switch the sound down in the end.

| I expected an even bigger defeat. I was expecting them to hit 70. They played our reserve team tonight.
I think some of those reserves need to keep their place. We just need some experienced leaders in along side them. At the present time we just don't have those players.
Over to you Richie myler.

| That was kids to the slaughter even against a very clunky Saints.
Who picked the team Grix or Myler?

Barring injuries and suspensions, it was always going to be a struggle to not to play as many of the young kids.

| How many minutes did Pele play? Not a lot.
Credit (honestly) to the 150 or so that made the trip over to St Helens.

| Lots of effort apparent tonight and plenty of energy. Clearly no leaders and severely lacking any creativeness and go-forward. Myler has a real job on his hands but these lads dug in despite the score. Hopefully some players in this week as AP stated last week.

What half back would shine in a team that gets walloped every week. Pro rata he’s done more than our star larkers.
Not banned or injured. The kid is trying.
Find it baffling when the team is poor and strugglng yet posters Insist on targeting individual players.

| Trying to run off our try line with teenagers was always going to backfire. Seemed like we had no ball whatsoever in that game

| Thought Jebson showed up really well in defence when he came on.
With Scott out next week I wouldn't mind Jebson taking his place in the second row.

| Good for Myler (and investors) that we need alot of change on and off the field.
Be intresting to see how side for the first game season, you would expect around 4/17 to be playing.

| Last night was always going to be a one way result, you cannot put that many young kids out there who (in my opinion at least) are not physically ready for SL. That is no criticism on them, I thought they gave it a good dig, but they need time to develop before been thrown to the lions den.
The question should be, why in round 8 have we been forced to this position? Why is our £2.35 million pound (according to someone) squad that stretched that we had a bench of 20 year olds, an 18 year old at full back and in the halves, and a 19 year old on the wing?
I also thought last night highlighted how incredibly average some of the elder players in our squad are. Yes they are doing it tough and have young kids either side of them, but even still I found them being more at fault for several tries than the young kids.
Regardless of what is on the horizon regarding change, we shouldn’t forget what an absolute mess this club has been subjected to by its owner and CEO. I would fully prefer them both to be out the door to be brutally honest, but have accepted that won’t be happening anytime soon.
Again, another drubbing, and another almost pointless task in trying to look for positives. I’ll credit Ese’ese who put in a right shift in.

| Let's be fair, that was a scratch squad. From our start of season squad we had missing
Trueman
Carlos
Nu brown
Hoy
Jack brown
Sao
Ashworth
Fash
Walker
Mitch
Staveley
Through injury or suspension and okunbor and tindall not played as they are rubbish. No team in the comp could field anywhere near a competitive side with those numbers missing

| Realised last night just how much a loss Swift going has proven to be.
On a night where the forwards were dominated it was down to the backline too much to drive the ball away from our line and that was far too big an ask for the youngsters.
Wouldn't have made a great change to the score amount, but do miss him.
I remember not too long ago having Yeaman, Briscoe and Willie Manu driving it up from the left.
