The loop games will make SL grow like never before.
The club would be better making a statement and playing the kids, the fans would get behind that

| Whilst pleased for Cas that this win all but secures their status. I have to agree with others on here.
there’s a consistent malaise within the group and lack of professional pride.
kr recruited 3 of our players and something like 5 from Bradford, but they brought in leaders too.
All the top teams have natural leaders minimum 2 or 3.
I can’t see even one in our 17.

| Fash and Brown offer something.
Lane is awful, but Cator offers very little, massively overrated by alot of our fans.

Pretty much copy and paste of the Warrington & Leeds games, stuck it to Wigan but just fell short and since then they’ve not looked anything like and switched off.
For me Smith should be taking some responsibility too for continuing to select certain players and repeating the combinations that have failed so many times even under Hodgson.
Granted we are a basket case but there’s no excuse for that level of non performance from so called professional sportsmen regardless of where they are playing next season.

When Cator first came into the team it seemed to work, he shored up the defense and his work rate seemed to spur on some of his compatriots while others took on the metre making going forward.
Currently in this pack he is just anonymous.
No argument on Lane, just not good enough.

| We are in a really bad spot . But I still believe Smith is the man to turn things round. For sure next year is massive. But it's Smith first year with a team he's moulding. Of course we could all stop going and then we'd have no club. Be like monaire who just whines like a slapped a rse and properly never gives a penny to the club. Anyway we are S hite no denying. But always next year

| Didn't surprise me tonight. I expected the defeat. When you have nothing to play for and players are just waiting for their holidays and pastures new then along with having our first 3 choices in the halves out, then it was inevitable.
For me tonight was the time to give a load of youngsters a run out. Our first team have proved that they ain't quite good enough, so let's see what the next generation can do? They might just suprise you. At tleast they'll be enthusiastic with a point to prove. Not like we have anything to lose.

Fash is decent squad player, if Brown had come through at Saints or Wigan who would be twice the player he is.

The same four have been in all season and everybody knows they are just not big enough, Fash is a tryer, Cator is a tackler, Brown pretty anonymous and Lane just the same. Lovudua has never done anything and we need a good clear out. We have persevered with too many ordinary players for too long.

Compared to us they are a great team, very well coached, very fit, tough defence and like it or not good to watch.
Unfortuneatly they are called Hull Kingston Rovers and its galling to see them doing so well but at the moment they are miles ahead of us
On thing i would say to Tony Smith is forget this layed back easy build up pre season approach and do what Willie Peters did at HKR and get them fitter in pre season than they have ever been

| Fash is okay as your 4th prop with no other small middles with him. Cator offers nothing in attack. Brown, will he ever be a regular? Lane, woeful, worse now than we he first come on the scene

| I like Brown, with a bigger pack around him next year and a better pre season, he could have a great year.
