Whilst we have some fans who can be over critical at times and we know who they are we also have a hard core group who refer to themselves as true fans and trot out the COYH and IAKOW phrases at every opportunity and defend the club vehemently.
We all know who they are also without naming them.
Fans at either end of the spectrum and shows how divisive this coaching team is being.
But all of this is borne out of frustration at our poor performances and incapable coach.'"
Great post we ALL want HullFC to win and be a successm but sadly the incompetence of the last 7 years is driving me away from this club, if it was a pet you'd have it put out of its misery.

| I challenge anyone fan to defend Radford to stay as Hull coach.
Would we improve with a new coach, who knows, but I'll settle for a team who didn't play the most boring rugby in all the years I've followed hull.

And that would achieve what exactly?
We all have different opinions I don't believe naming people and antagonizing them would do any good at all or be constructive.
We have all seen these posts and know who they are but this thread is about our performance at Cas and also in general now.

| If nothing else a new coach just gives us a reason to be optimistic, a fresh start.
I don't expect anyone to come in and make us great overnight, but I want someone with fresh ideas who at least makes us feel like the club is moving forward. At the moment we seem to be going backwards all the time. I thought last year was as bad as it was going to get, but I've been proven well and truly wrong.

| As an aside I see the club are plugging season passes for 2016.Cant see there been a big take up considering the present mess we are in.

| I've never understood making things up to try and back up your argument, it just weakens it by suggesting a lack of confidence. If you're so convinced of your own opinion, make the case for it on it's own (truthful) merits. If you don't think it stands up strongly, maybe you need to reassess.
Bombed Out's got it about right, but I didn't see anyone bigging up last week as anything more than it was; a much-needed win with some good tries scored but clear flaws still apparent.

| we've largely been a disaster even since the ludicrous decision to get rid of sharp, he should have been given more time. since then we've limped along for 7 or 8 seasons, but its got much worse under radford. he's got to be replaced now and take the majority of the coaching staff with him otherwise i would put large bucks on leigh or bradford beating us later in the season. we shouldn't realistically get relegated but neither should we think we are too good/big to go down under the current regime

I've said several times that Brian Noble is abailable and keen to get his reputation back after the Salford debacle.
Is he the most dynamic, full of new ideas coach available? No! But he is a a name within the game, with a point to prove and a proven winner who would at the very least steady the ship.

Performance wise I reckon on par with last year, but it feels worst with the players brought in.
I honestly can't see how it can get better, as others has said as much as I want to beat Rovers , it would really hide our big problems for a little bit longer.
If things don't change for the first time in years I will pick and choose my home games next year.

| All this Club Hull rubbish has to stop now. Radford has had his chance and failed miserably, I don't care if the next coach comes from Timbuktu as long as he takes the club in the right direction.

Completely agree. Sharp took us to 2nd and Old Trafford in 2006 and then 4th in 2007 despite losing Cooke, Swain, Domic and McMenemy by midseason. Poor start in 2008 but he was basically sacked for a bad three months.

Noble is undoubtedly an improvement on Radford, but I can't help but feel that we would just be having this same conversation two years down the line if we got him.
If McNamara is available and interested I would make a big push to get him.

| I don't think hull are any worse than most teams in the league, seems to me hardly any team can string 2 wins together.we are average, but the standard in super league is the worst ive known.

Losing Cooke was the turning point, as much as it pains us to say it. That incident sums the last decade or so of the club up, off the field incompetence combined with a consistent inability to replace quality player with anyone better or of the same standard.

My concern with McNamara is he's won nothing as a coach and with England he's done the 'nearly won but lost it narrowly' routine too many times already, though I do appreciate Australia/New Zealand are much more competitive opposition.
