IIRC someone started a thread early last season entitled "Radders - the best coach ever?" or something similar.

We'd done well first few games, so think that was more a hypothesis than an expressed opinion. It's the question mark that gives it away. (It wasn't me btw )

There's no evidence that he is a good player unfortunately. If he was he wouldn't have been playing (to an average level) in the championship - he would have been leading Hull around the field in Super League. This idea that in reality he's really a good player but Hull - although absolutely desperate for a good half back - didn't want to play him is an absolute joke.

To be fair, gentle addressed the recruitment in the halfs when he brought in holdsworth and miller. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that our 2015 recruitment will be no better than that was

I've had a rethink and changed what I thought reflected more my thoughts about the ridiculousness of posters on here with their obessession with looking at blame in every area but the coach.
Nothing I've said on here is untrue..it's such a sad reflection of how fans are blinded by smoke & mirrors into beleiving that Radford is even remotely capable..he just isn't.
Add into that the guy is a liar/deceiver (whichever it is the same) and had it in for some of our younger players and/or signings by the previous coach on the basis of clearing the decks as a sign of 'I'm in charge' just even more so shows he is a classless uneducated fool without anything on his resume that says he's anything except a good steady rugby league player.

Nobody as ever blamed just a single player, or certain bunch of players, or the coach, or the back room staff,or AP, players & coach's leave to bring in better replacements ( or what seem to be at the time) for the good of the club, everyone gets it wrong from time to time, AP has made decisions for the good of his business (our club) & will continue to chop & change till he gets the right balance, if you have ever been involved in a team/club environment you will already know, that you win & lose as a team, so you all take flack together, not just the player that missed the last tackle or made the last knock on, the coach takes blame for making the wrong team selection, as he takes credit for the team winning.
