Would anyone take cooke back untill the end of the season ?

Bit of a pointless and silly question given that the rumour has been squashed by the man himself.

Firstly, he would need to apologise to the fans for walking out on the club.

Then he would need to agree pay back any money he received from the enhanced contract that he never signed.

After he had done that I'd say, 'Thanks, but no thanks'

Dugan seems the latest in a long line of extremely talented players to have absolutely no appreciation for it. A real waste IMO, I thought he could have been Australia's replacement for Slater in a few years.

As far as Manu goes we offered him the same money as saints ,only we wanted three years out of him and saints two.thats why he signed for saints and not us ,wasn't sure how his body would feel.Thats from the horses mouth.

we matched over 3 years what he could make in 2 with saints that's not doing what he wanted is it!! its a no brainer for manu to go to saints he had no choice really a years salary is a lot of money and if he starts playing better he will get offered another year with saints anyway!!
im not hammering the club i just have an opinion about a certain subject the recruitment this year was all average because we signed big money Ellis we could of had bateman or whitehead if we had got in there quick enough and thrown money at them Bradford was a shambles and we should of took advantage of that!!
we should of kept manu and sold tickle now we will just lose him without no money coming back!!
i just think things could of been handled better and think mCrae had a lot to do with it tbh he screwed up alot of negotiations and he has no value at the club what so ever!!
gentle should do all the talking and negotiating to potential recruits end of!!
anyway none of this can be rectified now no matter how much we want it we will have to make do with what we have unfortunately

Even ignoring that players generally want the security of a longer deal at his age and accepting he is perhaps an exception, then surely his agent would have pointed out that it is a contract and not a prison sentence. His body doesn't feel up to it, then he just retires. Or if he feels okay, the option is his at least. Either something has got garbled in communication, he was being diplomatic or his agent is the most appalling idiot.

Unless you mean the same money spread over 3 years, as he is getting over two but that is 33% less gross pa.
