| Galea's fault for the 1st try, although Green missed the tackle. Green was the 'A' defender who's man is the 'A' attacker which in this case is the prop, his man is never the hooker. The second marker should fill the gap and slide out to prevent the scoot which galea doesn't do, hence green has to change direction to affect the tackle. Poor marker play

| Your forwards really played well, had good go forward and was tough in defence. But as you all know I believe it was your halfbacks that let you down again, off the back of the forwards they should have really created a hell of a lot more! Holdsworths kicking game was abysmal, I lost count how many times he put the ball dead in goal and who's tactic was it to kick high to a former full back in Murphy than kick it high to a pint sized Mcgilvery(sp).

| I think it's fair to say Holdsworth wasn't 100%.

must be difficult when you're the only attacking option on the pitch.

Saying that though, before this weekend Horne had the most try assists in the league

You mean like Paul Anderson? Or is that different?

| Just watched it on sky+, from my PoV we were pretty much the same as last week the difference was the team in front of us and the rub of the green. Last week we were quite fortunate and the opposition was awful, this week the opposition was miles better and there were a few important calls which could have gone the other way.

| Quote: R.B.A "Thats what i thought, and from a blooming Huddersfield fan!!! If Gentle sorts his ball players out then a full strength Hull team beats a full strength Huddersfield team every day of the week.'"
Really? Patronised? We have beaten the champions at their spot, St. Helens away- the team all the pundits were tipping to win this year, and wigan at home. We defended 68 consecutive wigan play the balls to our 1 all within our own twenty metre line to prevent wigan scoring. So yes - you played well and did well to score given our completion rate and error rate (compare to Bradford game!)
Your forwards matched ours up the middle, massive credit to you your defence for the most part was very solid. You did a good job of keeping the pressure on brough, and eorl wasn't allowed to do his stuff. Gentles tactics of kicking to murphy was ill advised - but holdsworth did as asked on that front but murphy was up to the challenge. Our three quarters played better than yours and that's where we won the game for me. Of course if that's patronising feel free to throw it back in my face.

| i thought you played pretty well last night. there was nothing between us for the first 65 minutes but we just had that extra bit of class to finish you off.
i thought you defended well and caused us some problems in attack, especially with the offloads, you prevented brough from kicking you to pieces and stopped our forwards,i thought you won the forward battle actually.
as for being robbed etc, give over, apart from the mcdonnell drop out i didn't see anything else that robbed you,in fact i thought the ref had a pretty decent game.
don't be too down on yourselves, you were good last night and probably didn't deserve a 24-10 defeat.

| the best etam won on the night as we were to predictable in attack
the nice little chip over resulted in a try but that was the only thing we did different all night
after the first 20 mins Holdsworth should have realised Murphy could deal with his kicks and tried varying them,
the ball never got out wide quick enough.
what happened to the expansive game we have been promised?
the game itself though was good and both teams deserve credit for the way it was played, and i liked the way Bentham let the game flow
dissapointed -yes
downhearted -No

R.B.A is a wovers fan
So, who would you have advised Holdsworth to kick to?
I don’t think that it was because Murphy was believed to be weak, or not up to the challenge, but perhaps the best option available.
