| Brief interview with David May (1 min 17s)
rlhttps://www.titans.com.au/news-display/Prince-decision-imminent/65492rl
He's got a odd accent to say he's from Hull.

| Will be happy when this is sorted,
Fed up of this is he coming or isn't he, the sooner this sorted the better for both clubs.
And even if he does come how long will it actually take for him to get a visa ??

| Maybe it is the visa that is dragging things on. Just wondered if Hull are waiting for Princes visa to be approved before announcing anything?

The whole situation is as clear as mud. Could be visa but I would of thought his would be pretty clear cut. I'm not aware of any previous and was under the impression he's always been a model pro.

I think it is pretty obvious that he would prefer to stay at the Titans or sign for another NRL club, most top NRL players would.
As long as he comes with a good attitude and tries his best like Swain and Fitzgibbon then I will be happy.

If he gives 80% of what Swain did I'll be happpy, never got the fuss about Fitzgibbon.

Wow, you really have a downer on overseas players, don't you?
Did Dave Webber fook your missus or something? You strike me as the sort of person who'd be cuckolded.

| Having followed the Titans and Scott Prince for a few years now, I can say with no doubt that if he did sign he would be 100% committed. Prince is a lot closer to the Fitzgibbon end of the scale in terms of professionalism.
He'd have no problems getting a visa either, he's cleaner than soap.
It's probably taking so long because its a big decision to make, it's no secret that his wife was homesick when they lived in Sydney, and I'm sure he wants to be certain it's the right thing to do for his family.
As for the money, I'm sure that with all his sponsorship over there with Adidas etc. I doubt an extra 2 years in SL would be hugely different to one year on the Gold Coast. I'd bet he'd make somewhere around £400-500k in one year if he stayed, how much do we think we're paying him? £200k a season max I reckon, probably back loaded with his 3rd year paid off.

Are you saying Fitzgibbon didn't give his all when playing for Hull, or did you miss Dave's point completely?

Plus the price of that brand new house he's just had built by the beach.
The only reason he'll come here for is a financial one. (don't blame him).

| Just my theory but I reckon he thinks the Titans have effectively removed him from their squad and as such he wants some compensation for that. There have been rumours that Gold Coast initiated this some time ago and if that's the case then despite their public announcements about hoping he'll stay (to placate their own fans) in reality they don't really mean it. I think he'll sign for Hull but wants what's due to him first. He may think he's in a stronger negotiating position before signing our contract than after. Just my theory.
