It's not Hudds binning him off I'm querying, it's why on earth he would be even slightly interested in either temporarily moving even farther away from where he wants to be, or taking on a notable commute when he has very little reason to. He could quite easily just refuse and play out the season with Hudds, or accept a pay off and have the rest of the year off before taking up his fat contract with Widnes.

Not 'tons'. A fair bit in the season Crocker failed to arrive and the seasons after that. The year prior to Crocker we were close to full cap and most of the seasons up to that point.

AP has all but confirmed this already. My guess would be he won't get any more specific as it would be unprofessional and he does still have to work with these people.

I think we stopped spending full cap when franchising came in (roughly about the same time Crocker failed to arrive) after that the board realised that they could cut costs (both playing squad and coaches salary) not have any fear of being relegated and still get the £'s in from our ever loyal and optimistic fans.

Let's not go over the top. He's not exactly achieved anything at Hull yet, has he. He might spend a lot of money and end up no better than before.

Can't the club just hurry up and announce whether we are actually in for chase? And that we've signed him? And the same with brough. All this suspense and waiting is awful

Noticed on the Danny Brough thread on the Hudds board that a poster claimed Brough was at the KC and then a mod checked the IP address and named Bones saying it was against the AUP to have a dummy account ....For starters it is not Bones style and surely sharing private info about who is posting from where is wrong ?
