I dont think Moa going would be a massive loss. He's been a penalty machine this season. I like him, don't get me wrong but O'Carroll has impressed and hopefully one of the younger lads can come on too.

We need a top class centre though to have any chance of really breaking through.

Daft observation but i will say it. What about moving Manu to prop? When ive seen O'Carroll and O Meley in the Sports Bar they are not huge. This would leave Tickle free to play in the 2nd row. I would like to keep O'Meley for another year so Bowden can continued to be natured. He looked good and Sunday. Ellis is a good signing and maybe we can find another Colin Best, he wasnt a big name before he came over but he was a cracking player when he played for us.

Wouldnt that be like moving Steven Gerrard into defence because you had also bought Frank Lampard? Manu is our best attacking threat in the team by a country mile would hate to lose that. Presumably Aspinwall will leave at the end of the season so isnt it pretty much as you where depending on who we need to replace in the actual front row.

So you want to move arguably the best back rowed in the world to centre or move currently our best attacking threat to prop where he wouldn't be suited to one bit? What a strange choice.
Why do ocarroll and omeley have to be huge? They both run the ball in with great aggression and defend well. Tickle is more suited to prop than the other two.
I've said I think omeley will stay another year but from what I've just been told then we could end up losing him aswell as Moa.

I think we'd lose more from Manu through the middle than we would Tickle. The reason Manu is so destructive is his upper body strength up against wider players combined with good pace and footwork to get through a gap. I'm not sure he'd be as effective up against props.

Another thing they'll have to get sorted is how much they are going to charge to watch him train.
