| Well they both seem to have the required qualifications and not old school sloggers and floggers of the players.

| I find Devlins "no flogging" strategy an interesting one and look forward to seeing the results. At the beginning of last season i went to a Q and A session with Justin Morgan. Rovers had started the season poorly whilst Wigan under Michael Mcguire had started like a house on fire. He explained that Rovers had adopted a no flogging policy in training whilst he knew that Mcguire was flogging his players mercilesly.
Morgans reasoning was that Rovers would grow into the season whilst Wigan would eventually fall to pieces due to it not being possibly to train and play at that intensity for a full season.
I remember sitting at the DW whilst Wigan wipped the floor with us in the play-offs on their way to the Grand Final and thinking that perhaps Mcguires strategy had been right..

This vacancy has been filled, like many advertised by RL clubs. They have to advertise them by law but the role was offered to someone last week

Looks like Morgan made the mistake of dismissing Wigan's training regime as 'just flogging' when it was no such thing. His second mistake was to assume that a training regime has to continue at a single pace/level of intensity for the entire year. No wonder he failed.

Didn't know that Morgan and Mcguire were the conditioners?

Have to agree Kosh, there isnt a team or conditioner in the land who wont have some tough days mixed with lighter sessions throughout the year.
There are a lot of experts on here all of a sudden, no wonder Hull is the hotbed of the 6 pack male with legs like lamposts

| Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but my concern would be what if the club feel further down the line that one of them isn't upto the job. Would we be able to get rid of one without the other following? Or would it leave us having to find 2 positions again.
Other than that let's just give em a chance & see how they do.
