If you feel it doesn't warrant a £30 additional fee, don't sit there.

7063.jpg "They supercede individuals, they supercede the team and they supercede the club. Our club is a traditional, working class club and the supporters are loyal and passionate and to see them go away happy really makes my day." Craig Sandercock.:7063.jpg |

| Quote: Mick Cranes Sidestep "Lets put some perspective on this. Whilst there has been withdrawal of a benefit, our fiends in the east have to pay £224 to stand in their East Stand or Well. Thats more than a ticket in our east or south and we give seats (if you buy before 31/12)
You only get discounted prices on seats in the East if you renew an existing pass at £221.
We are offering better facilities for near enough the same price.'"
The £224 is for new pass holders only Mick also the £224 stays the same for the whole off season, We have no discounted period. Now if you already have an east stand pass the cost to renew is only £188 which I make £14.40 per game.

If you don't like it go unreserved. If not, you don't really have anything to complain about. You know the price difference its up to you whether you pay it or not, its not as if there's any hidden charges.

| I never expected much more than a fiver saving so thats ok by me. Many clubs make a big deal about keeping prices at last years prices, so Adams stated commitment to reduce prices did never mean it was going to be a big reduction as far as I saw it, more just a gesture.
The man is investing heavily, paying off debts, and sorting us out as an organisation and will be improving us on the pitch, and I'm paying a tad less for it. I say thanks for that.
The voucher return thing being stopped is a mistake I think. But if he listens to the voices he may well change it back for next year. At least this guy is talking to us, and I think he'll listen too.
With hindsight, and seeing many the posts being disappointed at the pricing, maybe he'd of been better off saying nothing beforehand, then giving us a nice "little" price reduction surprise. Then everyone would have been happy with the man. Raising expectations even without meaning too can be a dangerous thing. Say nothing next time Adam.
I put it down to a rare PR exercise mishap, thats all.
Lets get behind the club and see what our new look team plays like.

Oh, I'll be going unreserved alright but I do have something to complain about.. I've always been reserved and now i have to change my full pattern and day out because this club have made a ridiculous decision to 'discount' a large portion of the East Stand by over 15% and those that wish to sit in the same place every week get a discount of less than 3%.
Pearson has changed alot to do with the club but regarding my personal matchday experience he has got EVERYTHING wrong so far..
Just the same bad fan management as the previous board if not worse IMO....

| The voucher exchange has been a major selling point of passes over the years and pushes those who cannot get to all games to still buy a pass knowing they can at least use those vouchers from missed games to bring friends or sell on at a fee. Removing it means someone who can foresee missing 4 home games might as well not buy a pass but just pay on the gate., this in turn makes people think twice about attending especially if the game is on sky.
When you take into account the occasional offers for games as well the value of a pass has decreased significantly.

| I don't see the problem myself but some people like to moan about anything I guess.
I have not bought a season pass the last couple of years for obvious reasons but am tempted to get one for next season with the whole new dawn new era etc. I went to about 9 home games last season all at £22 a ticket so I make it £198 in ticket costs I shelled out. If I get a pass this year I will have entry to all home games + a challenge cup game and priority on any final tickets for only £195. Rough workings in my head tell me it works out at about £15 a game, so basically saving £7 a game on what I would have had to pay last year.
£100 saving throughout the season for me.

Same here! You need to invest in a club at the end of the day for anything to be succesful! Don't see the issue! Most peopole paid it to watch Agar... now pay it to watch us evolve! Simple.

Yes.
Under the old regime we would have been paying much more, and for the same dross as before.

You may be upset at a charge for having a reserved seat, I can understand that. However to go off on one like you have is way over the top, to say the club have changed your pattern and match day experience is a bit too far and then saying they don't care about the fans is even more tosh considering the amount of surveys we have had to take over the past couple of months. Pearson has done exactly everything the fans wanted off him and some are little something which in reality is a small problem escalate into something big.
I wonder if Pearson was showing his "football side" when sorting out a tax bill caused by the old board.
