Well it's a shame there is only 1 Rangi Chase then isnt it!! And he has done that well he has steered Cas to 7th and no doubt to 8th place when we go above them |

Also, it is worth noting that although he has shown glimpses of what he can do in previous seasons, it is only this season he has really shone - wonder what kind of impact Danny Orr has had on this - to organise the attack and give Chase the space he needs.
Rest assured, if Chase was playing Hull this year with the injuries we have had, i bet his stats would be close to Horne's. Horne has stepped up to the plate to be the organiser which is not his game, i bet Chase wouldnt do the same thing |

Nope. I stated last season that I was afraid that he [imight[/i be finished. He proved me wrong and I'm big enough to admit it. Between the odd live game, TV, and highlights I've seen a reasonable amount of him and I can see his stats.
I'm not ignoring his stats compared to Chase at all. Chase is a special player and would walk into just about every side in SL. However, as he doesn't play for a top 4 side he's irrelevant to the argument about whether Horne is good enough for a top 4 side or not. |

No one on here in my memory has ever claimed Horne to be the best no.6 in SL, that's what you have compared him too in Rangi Chase so not surprisingly he does not come on ahead of him.
You did say he was not good enough to be in a top four side, the stats compared with Brown suggest he is.
He's a very good SL no.6 and with the right halfback partner he will perform better. |

So let us get this straight, you believe Chase only showed glimpes of his talent up to last season, and it is Danny Orr who has given him the chance to shine, also if Chase was in Hull this year he would basically have the same stats as Horney  , so theoretically if we had Orr Horney would be the new Chase...What do you mean the injuries we have had this season, they are a lot better than the last 2 seasons.

Chase is a special player, he is the type of player I would like to see in an FC shirt if we seriously want to challenge, after years of h/back issues he is the type of player we should be throwing money at!
Not Brown who has played an International level as has Horney...what are Huddersfield going to win this season ? I will tell you the same as us SFA! |

Horne has played in the halves this year with Obst, Turner, Long, Westerman and Washbrook. Meaning, he has had to be the one organising the team as he has been the one constant throughout. Shall we also also compare Chase's stats to Jamie Soward or Darren Lockyer?? No?? Exactly - f***ing pointless! There are better players in the league than what we have at Hull in certain positions, why pinpoint Horne?? Phelps isnt as good as Tomkins at full back so we will never make top 4. Houghton isnt as good as Monaghan at 9 so we will never make top 4. Get a grip

You claimed Chase would have the same stats as Horney if he played for Hull! and you tell me to get a grip 
Of course you can compare other positions , however what has that argument got to do with obtaining a top quality h/back which we have lacked for many years.....I pinpoint Horney due to our lack of ambition by affording him a 2 yr contract which is not warranted!
Also worth touching on the fact you made about Horney being the constant throughout....We are now in a battle for 8th and got knocked out of the c/cup by an average Leeds side..Mmmmmm |
