| Quote: Chris28 "On the Turner "try" none of us could believe it was disallowed. Almost in front of us, ball grounded over the line. not sure how or why it was not given.
I was sat in front of that too and when it was disallowed I said it looked like Turner had dropped it.
Just shows how people will interprate the same situation differently.
The ref had a split second to make a call, think he did ok today to be honest.

| Didn't think the ref was great all day tbh, seemed to have forgotten the markers square and flop rules and was hammering the interference law.

Same here, i thought straightaway he dropped it, thought then it was the right decision, having a video ref to slow the play down is great, but in real time the ref has to make the decision, and i thought (probably wrong) he got it right!

| Their try in the 1st half was short and appeared to bounce. To be fair though, if our attitude had been better we wouldnt be discussing the ref, should be looking at some of our players first.
It was the old Hull today wasn't it - take out the new signings of Obst and Gleeson, then minus the leadership of Fitz and we looked similar to the last time we played there 3 years ago.

So what you're saying is that if you take away all our leaders and organisers we look exactly like we did the last time we had no leaders or organisers?
No too much of a shock, surely?

Mr Hicks was really bad and missed many forward passes. I was sitting in the South Stand and could see how forward they were quite clearly while Hick was not up with play. I am not being biased, either.
Mr Hicks and Mr Childs should be relegated to reserve Rugby, as they are both not up to the standard of some other referees.
Having said that, It was a very good game to watch and we saw some good Rugby. I look forward to meeting you again next year.

| Havnt read all 10 pages but just wondered what people thoughts are on Tickle playing loose man? To me it seemed the perfect game to play Westerman at 13 and see how he goes. Thought Tickle looked abit lost around the middle compared to Fitz, and Westerman, or even Washbrook would have probably done a better job.
