Why don,t you do us all a favour and stop nit picking with posters who do not share your views about our club..I do not give a flying what you think about my views.......no doubt if we win the next couple of games you will go missing any-way!!

Who's nitpicking? You made a statement in response to something I said and then contradicted yourself shortly after.. it's a totally fair question and your response suggests you don't really know how to answer it.

Read what I wrote I never contradicted myself at all...I said if the views of a minority on here (including you) were the the general feelings of the 1000s of fans this would reflect in the number of season pass sales, I posted they would not..
I then said the majority will reflect on the season in the closed months and remember the good games e.g Saints etc, you see the thing is the majority of fans are not doom and gloom merchants, they are fc fans who want their team to do well and dream of silverware but they are realistic and understand it is only a sport!! I have also posted at some point I personally believe at some point Agar will achieve and get the silverware...
For the record their is no chance you will contradict yourself because you are consistent at posting the same cr@p week in and week out, constantly looking for arguments

You said you thought that if season ticket sales were high again this year that it would be proof/evidence that those who want Agar out are in a minority. You later said that the majority of fans feel that it'd be great to win something but ultimately they just enjoy watching rugby either way and so would renew their passes (i.e they'd renew whether they were happy with the coach or not).
It's obvious that they contradict each other I wasn't trying to be clever, I don't really understand your attitude towards me on this...

| If there was a poll tomorrow of all pass holders and the question they were asked was would they like Agar to stay in charge or do they want a new coach to take the club forward on the pitch, then once the result came in,Agar would be unemployed.

The debate was around the posters claiming most of the fans are unhappy about Agar as our coach..I replied if they did not want him as our coach and felt as strong as the minority on here this would reflect in the season pass sales, I personally do not believe the majority of fans are that bothered about Agar enough to stop them buying a pass, in fact I believe the majority are happier about where we are this season, most will be disappointed about certain games we should have won etc...but most understand it is a sport and we will no doubt dream the dream next season etc etc...I fail to see a contradiction, and I also believe you nit pick with any poster who does not share your views about Agar.

There's clearly a contradiction but anyone reading it will be able to see it for themselves, there's no point discussing it any further as there have been enough rows on here today already.

I doubt he will. Like a small number of us, he has steadfastly stuck to his beliefs on agar (positive and negative posters). The rest of you switch sides more often than you change your keks

I'll renew my pass next season but it's not an indication of whether or not I'm happy with agar

Personally i think your a tad wrong here BB, i think you'll find the majority of fans are bothered about Agar being the head coach, and (i may well be wrong) i think the season pass sales will be down on this season, i know (my dad included)many pass holders who are not renewing thier passes (some in the reserved are buying junior passes to save seats) but are picking thier games for next season, and this is down to the dour rugby/coaching that we are witnessing.
Yes we may be 5th but imo, this is due somewhat to the shock results we have seen in other teams, not our brilliant performances (which you can name on 1 hand) we have gone backwards from our GF appearance, and thats the really annoying factor, we should have kicked on, we never, and some on here are quite happy to settle for mediocricy (sp), us fans, as you have said, will again dream the dream for next season, but i bet Hasler or Bennet (or the like) are head coach!!

Why is it unrealistic in sport for a team like ours with the loyal and large fanbase , magnificent stadium , great off field position financially , massive tradition etc etc in the time of a level playing field due to the salary cap , to harbour real expectation of winning something? All prejudice and opinions aside this is currently very much only a dream if the bookies are right and they usually are and you'd get long odds against us winning the GF in he next 3 years. I am desperate for my team to do well , I care so I state my opinion in the hope that it will influence somebody somewhere and that that will be good for the club - I realise that is most unlikely of course. I really worry that we've missed an opportunity.

cartoons/WB17.gif I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Whilst not everyone is a "doom and gloom merchant", there are very few people (either on this board or within the fanbase in general) who truely believe Richard Agar is the right man for us. I'm guessing the Agar fan club must be concentrated in whichever part of the ground you sit, because it sure as hell isn't anywhere near me.
Someone buying a season pass is not an automatic endorsement of whats being served up in front of them. Similarly, just because someone disagrees with the coaching set-up at their club, it doesn't automatically follow that they will refuse to attend.
Supporters follow the club through thick and thin (In any kind of weather as a certain song goes) and will still turn up even when they disagree with the direction the club is taking. Some of us where here long before Mr Agar and we will still be here long after he has departed.
You and I are quite clearly on opposite sides of the Agar out debate, but I have to say I have a certain admiration for your assertion that "at some point Agar will achieve and get the silverware". At least you have nailed your colours firmly to the mast. You're completely delusional as far as I'm concerned, but at least you're delusional with convictions which at least makes you better than the "well, I don't really believe in him but lets give him two years to prove us wrong" brigade.
FWIW, I have never believed Richard Agar is the man for us right from day one, as I said to someone as we were walking out of the Stoop after Peter Sharp's last game in charge. I have continued to hold that belief ever since. Even after this years games against Saints & rovers I was still convinced that he wasn't the man for us. All we have done is waste two years worth of opportunities which we then proceeded to compound on 1st April this year by committing ourselves to a further two years of wasted opportunities (In my opinion of course). If the club had grabbed the bull by the horns in May 2008 and made a concious decision to aim for the very top of the game, we could be looking at real glory right here, right now. Whatever Wigan & Warrington have achieved over the course of the last twelve months, there is absolutely no reason why our club could not do the same. But in order to do so requires vision and inspiration and not simply dull conformity and settling for a mediocre second best.
You obviously will not agree with these sentiments, as stated above, and therefore one of us is going to be proved wrong at some point in time. My money's on you having to come over to our side of the argument (you will, just you wait and see) as you slowly realise the delusion of your fantasy and how Jake & Junior tried to tell you.
In the meantime, I shall look out for you at the KC next time out. Presumably you will be the one starting the chorus of "Richard Agar's barmy army" that we all hear ringing around the ground at every home game since May 2008. Or is that just selective deafness on my part that stops me from hearing the sound of 12000 others singing their unwavering support for our inspirational coach.

Precisely
We clearly are some way short of challenging consistently at the very top.
The most frustrating aspect of this is the fact that everything is in place for this club to be potentially the biggest club in British RL. But due to a lack of vision at the very top of the club we continue to sell ourselves short.
Even more frustrating is the fact in 2005/06 we managed to manoeuvre ourselves into a position of challenging (and indeed winning) the game's major honours. Only for us to fritter it away in an incredibly short space of time.
I agree with you that we could and indeed should be so much more than we are right now. And I also have the nagging feeling that a golden opportunity has been wasted in a welter of bad decision making.
