Was in the 14500's. They were saying about 500 from Hudds.

14,520 was the attendance which is excellent.

That is just 3 less (!) than last year's opener against Wigan who brought a few hundred more than the Giants did tonight. It's 3,300 up on last year's fixture against Huddersfield.

poor away following considering their win last week.i know they haven't always had a decent travelling support but i still thought they might have brought closer to 600/700.

Great to see the east and south stands nearly full from my view in the west. When I first saw the drinks being brought in I was grumbling about the lack of stewards and the fact they've got no bottle, comments such as "they'll be lighting up next tut tut tut". Bleating on for an hour when this bloke in front told me drinks are now allowd at your seat. Could've told me earlier cos I spoilt everyone elses game with my constant blithering hehe!

I've been away you see and missed the threads on here. Was it Mr Pearson we have to thank forthe turn around? I will have a look for the thread if I can find one but just in case?

sorry - just found it icon_beat.gif

Quote: Mild mannered Janitor "That would be more than the 19k that turned up against Bradford in 2003. That ain't going to happen.

OK, so I was wrong, by 20

still you have to appreciate that there were over 14000 HULL FC fans there last night. That in itself is brilliant.

Great attendance last night but a real shame that we were playing against a joke of a club that only has a pretend following.

"The home of rugby league" d040.gif d040.gif Do me a favour !!

200 - 300 away fans is a total embarassment !!!!!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

great attendence considering hudds bringing 300 and the weather im sure may a have put some fans of but great start though. presuming we beat crusaders which by no means will be easy im sure it will be very tight game but think we will win. then i think weve got cas at home so they could be more then 15k if cas bring 800-1k and the weather is ok and not like last night.
and yeh hudds should bring more but they arnt a joke of a club though
