More embarrassing is being soft and on the back foot all the time. I've seen enough of that for 2-3 seasons so the new stuff is just fine.

Hame's aggression led directly to Morrison being binned. With better halves we would have taken advantage of that.

To be fair, Hame didn't actually give away any penalties. I was more concerned that he'd end up binned for retaliation.

it certainly did, although replays suggest we were lucky to get the first decision.

Although not Hame's, it cost us two points as a result of a penalty, not two points as in the game.

We've been lacking controlled aggression for too long. Perhaps all Hame needs is to control his aggression. Remember that he's missed a lot of game time in the last year.

Plus it was worth it to see the gobby pseudo-hardcase Morrision going backwards at a rate of knots.

It was probably easier for the referee to award a penalty to Hull in the circumstances at that end of the field rather than give Bradford the opportunity to take the lead again for a nothing incident.
