Good or bad, we are glad you did.
O'Meley is an excellent signing btw.

In my defence I made that comment before it was said that it would be a loan deal. Which, as Berrigan is obviously going to be first choice, wouldn't be a bad thing. I took it to mean he is actually leaving, which would be worse than Briscoe leaving.

Agree, but if Lee is going to Salford who rotates/covers Berro?
Cant see both Lee and Houghton going.
Would also be pleased to see Maloney and even Moa go out on loan for a season.

Even then it wouldn't though.
I like Houghton but at the minute, he has Berrigan in front of him and Lee is the better all-round hooker.

I think Lee will stay. He deserves to anyway.

Well I for one said that prior to been told it was on loan.
However I would hardly call it ludicrous all the same, debateable maybe. Houghton does offer a lot of options to us and the amount of times he has played for us recently shows to me at least that we should retain him. Personally I don't see how that particular loan deal is going to give him any more than the experience he is already getting, especially as understudy to Berrigan.

Definetly, a loan deal is questionable, but a release would be worst than the decision on Briscoe.

If that happenes then i think we need another prop, could be Richard Moore, but would rather keep Thacks than sign him.'"
What about Moa, we've hardly seen him this season through no fault of his. If he was given a good run in the 17 (starting today), along with Maloney, we might find we have two good back up props to cover us (or not). We could then unload King, Thacks, Radders and Dowes.
Both Moa and Maloney will not be on ahuge amount, would leave extra for a decent centre or full back.
