I care what happens on the pitch like we all do and and it's our hard earned cash that is keeping him in a career.He has not been very professional on the pitch or off it lately.It was'nt very clever what he said and he has'nt done himself any favours or his club for that matter.

I can’t read through all of this but I think some are being a little presumptuous. I would offer a word of caution. When I was in the army I was on the receiving end of a the Sun newspaper. Without going into detail they took a story from the Nottingham Evening Post about something that happened to me in Bosnia. Needless to say it had me swearing like a trooper in it. It was a fabrication as I had said nothing of the sort. I did not even speak to them or the Evening Post in fact….

Thackray can say what he likes about people outside of Hull FC. It's not a smart move IMO but it's his right to make his own mistakes.
TBH it's a refreshing change from the usual handful of cliches which players are taught to repeat.
I hope he plays tomorrow and has a blinder.
