| Here's my team from "changes for Friday " thread
Enough is enough for me. lets have 2 different half backs cos the two we have had all season aint doing their job and earning their monies (which we pay )
1 R Horne (potentially best full back in country, not living up to expectations as a half back)
2 M Calderwood
3 G Horne
4 K Yeaman
5 T Briscoe
6 R Whiting (give him chance to see if he can do better than Thorman and Horne)
7 T Lee ( give him a chance cos at least he plays with desire and passion to have a go and at least try to earn his money)
8 E Dowes
9 S Berrigan
10 J Thackarey
11 L Radford
12 D Tickle
13 D Washbrook
14 W Manu ( ffs give the man a rest to be more of a handful when he gets on. jesus you dont buy a rolls royce and go scrabbling in it do you? )
15 P Cusack ( to spell Dowes)
16 P King ( to spell Thackaray)
17 C Hall (Utility players to fill whatever gaps appear)
RESTED
Moa to get him fit by playing full games in reserves
DROPPED
Thorman cos he's like curry. only worth paying for if its hot and he ain't
I'd have Radford swapping left and right sides to spell Tickle and Manu as long as one of those two were always on pitch if not both.
may be drastic changing both half backs but we got everything to gain by finding two players that can do the job
8 games and no signs of the present 2 been good enough

14. Thackray
15. King
16. Manu
17. Houghton
Manu needs spelling so we have more impact from him. Thackray needs to come in for some impact too. Hall just won't cut it at full back and will get battered by the Rovers kickers on Friday. Whiting deserves a shot in the team, either at 6 or 13.

34439.jpg winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

| Have people who are putting Lee at SH, never seen him play, he is awful there, thorman is far better at HB.
Lee has shown over the last couple of season that his best position is hooker, keep him there or not play him.

just cos someone don't agree with you why does that make them insane?
if everyone had same ideas and views life would be very boring and we'd never make any progress in anything in life
I've looked at peoples teams and some fascinating ideas. I've got Manu on bench but like the views of people who'd start him but give him rest (i've thought about this) give him short break in middle of each half could be of benefit. If you don't take notice of others you won't learn as quick and you can always learn something even off the biggest ( in your opinion) idiot around. especially if they say don't cross the road there's a bus coming

Its not cos someone disagrees with him, its cos a team in SL has always looked even worse than weve been looking if they put Thorman at 1 and Lee at 7. Neither player has ever had a good game in those positions.

| I agree about Thorman at full back. watching him last year at hudderrsfield he looked scared to catch a high ball, can't tackle. Not impressed either with him at half back either. We desperately need a half back that grabs the game by scruff of neck and dictates our play.
I don't mind Tommy Lee at Scrum half, though it seems like they are moulding him into a loose forward or hooker as opposed to half back.
Even though he makes errors which he gets slaughtered for, he makes errors cos he's trying. I'd rather he did that then not try and make no errors cos he'd be no value to the team. He does get involved and look to dictate. Not the best but better than what we have in my opinion.
Plus i'd love to see Rich Horne at full back, i beleieve he'd be sensational and best in country.

If you're going to do that, put Hall in the centre and drop G Horne to the bench and he can cover back row and threequarters
