Why is it not possible that Hull FC do need 14,500 to balance the books?

If they could only just manage to break even on averages of 13,700 and lack of investment.
If Pearson has had to invest more surely the crowd average would need to increase to cover
the extra investment.

Your analysis is flawed for a number of reasons. The largest of these is that you're basing it on incomplete data. You have no idea what the club's cost base was before Pearson took over or what it is now - only that it's been increased. You have no idea how the profit on the 13k crowd was calculated or what other income streams were like. You've ignored - possibly deliberately - that Pearson points out that crowd numbers are only one (important) factor in increasing the club's revenue.

In other words, you have no clue whatsoever what our 'balance the books' crowd figure might be at any given point. Your posts are pure guesswork. Which is your prerogative, but don't expect any of the grown-ups to take you seriously.

There seems to be a direct relationship between crowd figures and profit or loss
even if you don't know all the other factors.
I am predicting a £700,000 loss for FC this season.
