| Quote: Irregular Hoops "The team have salvaged many games this year so we can cut them a bit of slack tonight. They've earned that over the year.
Sometimes you learn more from a loss. Been coming for a while .
Thought Carlos looked better at half when Pryce got taken off. Connor could also play that role with ease on tonight's performance.
At least Yeaman can't cop any flak tonight.'"
Moanaire won't see it like that. Yeamo was a big miss but for me, again we missed Watts big style and of course Ellis. I think barring injuries, that's the last we see of Pryce in the halves, he was awful. Carlos looked the part when he moved to stand off. Naughton for me showed up well but he isn't Shaul, he would have looked better if we'd been on the front foot. Ne'er mind, onwards and upwards. Won't be here for the next 2, so probably be be big wins

| Horrible wet night and failure by us to play the conditions. Impressed with Huddersfield without Brough tbh, their defence looked good and they've stepped on and maybe turned a corner.
Our energy was poor, perhaps understandably, we never really got going. Jake Connor looks a right signing.
The response is important. Can see Leeds winning this weekend and looking to get on a roll with players back. Big week in training.

Probably Sneyd, but at least he tried thing, Pryce seemed to be no way to be seen.

| hudds played well and deserved the win. Out enthused us and defended really well I thought.
We were awful from the off. Lacking in energy, aggression and ideas. Like some have said, that has been coming for weeks. We haven't been playing well but have found ways to win. pryce woeful, sneyd probably his worst game all season, forwards struggling to get into the game. We missed yeaman on our left edge and I doubt they'd have scored those 2 tries if he'd been playing. The decision for the 3rd try was a joke but you get those and have to deal with them.
Hopefully we can draw a line under it and win next week but we've missed a golden opportunity tonight to really turn the screw on the rest of the top 4. Potentially we could have been 4 points clear by the end of this round, now we may be only top by points difference.
fonua has been great for us in recent weeks yet barely touched the ball tonight, radford left manu on too long and I presume pritchard picked up a knock as he only played about 20 minutes.

Lack of brains we have Fonua on the right against a young skinny kid and we keep attacking there right were there two best players are.

| pryce imo unless injuries strike shouldn't be in the team, tuime looked a lot better at stand off and should play there from now on, manu tackled his heart out and imo was one of our better players, we just lacked any go forward and looked tired from the off, leeds a big match on fri and already looking forward to it,

Wasn't totally convinced that we didn't need a new half next year, but as you say Carlos looked the part when he switched there. Given the fact Connor could play as one of the pivots as well, think we'll be okay next year.
One of those nights. Regroup, refocus and get the defeat out the way before we play the Dobbins.
