I probably agree that any form of protest unless it involves severely reducing the clubs cashflow would not have any leverage. It could though if done in sufficiently large numbers get the media involved and perhaps make things uncomfortable or awkward for the board which may just influence people a bit.
I don't understand your argument here though , surely it's not where we are now it's the direction we're clearly going in that's the problem. We all can see that it's Agar that is taking us backwards so why is it pathetic to suggest doing something now rather than just waiting in silence and saying I told you so when we finish 12th/13th/14th?
The point of any protest is generally to persuade others of your point of view and/or to embarrass those you're protesting against.

Don't me wrong, Kath and the board have got a lot to answer for with regard to letting Agar stay on this long and even for appointing such a buffoon in the first place. I'm just saying that they run the club as a profitable business and have made substantial loans to the club and take money out of the club to repay those accordingly. Therefore anyone who wished to buy them out would not only have to make them a satisfactory offer for their shareholding but also pay off the loans. The only type of person who would be willing to take such a financial hit would be a wealthy fan who's in it for pleasure like Wire have with Moran.

Im willing to stake money on it, yes we may lose a few hundred, maybe upto a thousand but the people will not risk losing there seats, or risk having to pay 100.00 more if they go to every game etc etc

I keep saying this on the various threads about how p!ssed off fans are cos we aren't top of the league....BUT.....LOOK UP THE WORD 'SUPPORTER' in a dictionary....If you class yourself as a Hull FC 'SUPPORTER'.....Then prove it. SUPPORT THE HAND THAT WE ALL HAVE BEEN DEALT (including Rich Agar)....Cos that is what and who we are (this season). Then try to put yourself in the shoes of a Widnes or Featherston supporter and immagin what it would be like looking up and yearning for what we have !
