Personally I don't have too many issues with the way the Rovers pack played, both sides out some big hits in and both side lived on the edge at times, that's just rugby league.

Hame should not have reacted but he did have 3/4 players all trying to get to his head which is where the referee failed to do his job.

Barrie Mac always defends forwards. Which makes his comment on Newton's late effort on Tansey "A taxi/escort is one thing, bushwhacking someone in the back is another" pretty telling IMO.

Agree, you have to keep your head at times but the treatment he was getting was cheap, sly and cowardice.
Newton cleverer?? Another cheapshot artist who should have been penalised himself for rubbing his head into Lauaki's on the ground and he had the marks to prove it. Silverwood was taken for a ride.
