| Quote Smiggs="Smiggs"I must admit anyone who doesn't believe that we as a team are in decline really needs to give their head a bang. We play the most one dimensional game in the league and it doesn't even play to our strengths (although I have to admit I'm not quite sure we actually have any). The squad is wafer thin on quality, the coaching set up is simply abysmal and the board are so far removed from the fans they might as well be on another planet.'"
Most all clubs go through various periods of decline.
Thats life.
For me (performance wise) the whole of SL is in decline at the moment.

| Quote berrigans bitch="berrigans bitch"Yes every home game, 3 away games, no argument we are in need of a couple of players and the coaching decisions appear questionable
However we are playing a damn sight better than some teams, Bradford, Cats to name just 2.We are only 6 points behind the current leaders, imo we are in a lot better position than this time last season.
Just because we are not playing brilliant rugby (which I would also like) how can it be said we are falling into decline, now if we were Bradford it may be an appropriate statement.'"
Are we, both play better rugby

By better do you mean more entertaing to watch (which I agree with), because the table would suggest at this point they are not better.

| We can sit here all you want and say "we've had worse times"
You can thow Lloyd in the mix. David Latham et al.
But fact is, we have the most expensive squad ever at the club. One of the strongest, lined with internationals, medal winners, state of origin etc, yet we are cack.
The days of being rubbish and Wigan/Saints/Leeds d!cking us by 60 was the days we fielded the likes of Steve Durham, Neil Turner, Steve Craven, Andy Mighty, Rob Danby, Mike Dixon, Kev Gray , Shane Endacott, Mark Hewitt, Johan Windley, Rich Wilson, Leroy Mckenzie
The last 8 names played at the "potentially last ever Hull game" at Central park in 1995, score 60 - 6

| Quote berrigans bitch="berrigans bitch" Clearly Sue & Steve have not been going long then?
Have they not noticed we are currently in the play-off positions(7th), there are 14 games left, we lost games by a couple of points in a tight competition.
Or is their disapointment due to the fact your team are higher than theirs at this point
'" dont konw where you make that asumption that they have not being going lone they have been pass holders for the past 18 years steve doesnt seem happy with the way kH and JR are runnig things at the club and nothing to do with where you are in the table!
