Here's a question for you. Why do Rovers need to get Club Rovers 2010 membership payments in in July 2009 and get season pass renewals done by mid August, when at FC we have a discounted period that ends on 31st December?

Finally, Rovers accounts to 30/11/2008 are due to be filed this week. If all is rosy, I'm sure they'll be posting a big profit and reduction in debt.

I'm with the poster who said that if any such scheme means I lose my reserved seat I'll not go to the KC again. I will go and watch Fax and Barrow once a week instead.

I refer you to all my previous posts on this matter. Can't be bothered to reiterate, but in a few words:

Seats, loyalty, smack in the face, blackmail, no option, desperate short term solution, backfire, resentment, long term dissatisfaction.

The only fact out there is the 5000+ membership. On field performances will ultimately dictate the real success of the scheme.

Plus they never sent the vouchers out for the £5 discount in the shop which was a listed benefit. Which expires on 30th Sept. Another retail and admin triumph. At least it avoids giving £25,000 away

TBF Mrs B some of the terms stated in the brochure have changed anyway like the clause where you have to have paid in full for your 2010 pass by 30/9/09 to get the 2011 pass at 2008 price, so the £5 discount voucher peroid may have been extended.

There is no doubt it has been cobbled together very quickly and probably for the reasons most of us think. I've seen how both clubs operate and Hull are light years ahead in the way they conduct their business, but the scheme does have some merit imo, its just that it has been administered by a bunch of numpties.

Poor from you, Gordon. I know you're not thick so can only assume you are being deliberately obtuse. There are plenty of unsavoury facts about this scheme as well you know. Another fact being that on-field performances are irrelevant, as folk have already parted with their money for their membership and their passes and next season is 5 months away.

If they can limp through the closed season.

Question, if the money for the scheme and the passes has already been gathered in, how strong is next year's cash flow going to be? Will Rovers need credit?
