In what context was he swearing about Hodgson? I remember clearly on Hodgson's debut in the aftermatch programme when asked about Hodgson's contribution Lloyd just mentioned that he was smashed in his first tackle he took in SL. Is he now claiming this is some sort of disaster for FC?

I think some of the comments on here are OTT. I've watched Josh a lot and he's a good player but for somebody on here to say he's going to be world class is a stupid statement imo.

He was supposed to be playing a pre recorded interview with Justine but played an unedited version by mistake. On the version he played he could not remember whether it was Hodgson or Hogson and said "F*cking hell" - what is it? or words to that effect.

without reading through 10 pages of complete rubbish know doubt, my opinion is good luck to the lad he was 4th choice at hull for the hooker position (granted 3rd choice when lee is gone) but he can hopefully get a shot at rovers with being 2nd fiddle the fisher.
Imo from what i've seen of him (1st team and a handful of reserve games) he's done nothing to suggest that he could cut it at sl level, (been dominated in the 1st team games he's featured in) you can take all the plaudits in u21's but it doesn't neccesary mean that you will make the step up. i felt he'll be another matty dale type player who we'll hang onto for to long with out him ever making the step up, there are plenty of other positions in our team we could do with developing youngsters for that aren't overly covered i.e halfback,fullback.

Time will tell i suppose but good look to the lad.

i remeber other players like Danny Hill, Ian Bell, Andy Last, both the young Thackarys and many, all able to rip it up in the reserves

lets be honest how many players have we developed over the years that have gone on to bigger things and the others that have drifted into the background.
We seem to keep players for far to long imo instead of admitting they won't make it and take the risk of releasing them and some members of the current squad can be mentioned with those comments.
