. oh i agree houghton the far better player, but at the beginning of the season it worked well for us, its just a case of shaking things up . plus houghton had 2 really hard games, might spark us up him coming of the bench. not ideal but we have to win this game.

Salford have a few players out as well. No excuses we should be winning this.

It worked well last season under Last. Johnstone started did a ok job and Houghton came of the bench and looked more effective.

Connor will have to revert to 6 with Wynne at full back
Its a pity Shaul is not available as i think Wynne at full back with Shaul taking the middle role again would have added some badly needed pace

Totally agree I'm fed up of having these lads on the bench & coming on for 5 minutes totally pointless do other teams do this? If there not good enough dont pick them its just forcing other players to play longer minutes if there they play simple.

if he was available which he isn't. Am not saying it's a great idea but it's just a different way. Johnson if he did earlier in the year which wasn't bad. Then put Houghton on LTR. We need a change of tactics. Move things round a bit. We just need a win. Any win. Still a good enough team to get the 2 points.

Absolutely we need to get the win. Can we remember who were are playing. Its the team that was beaten by Leigh. You know Leigh, the team who had lost 17 on the bounce. If we can't beat Salford then its time to call it a day.
