| Quote Riderofthepalehorse="Riderofthepalehorse"Lol I’ve been waiting to do this, will we play Houghton or a runner at nine with the new rule changes. Lucky Leeds how much revenue will they get for hosting these fixtures, we know they need help to fund their new stadium. Will Sky really care if no supporters are there, as long as their sat dishes are selling. At least the Hull supporters won’t get drenched at the uncovered end.'"
Think houghton will be brilliant with the new set restart rule, expecting big things from shaul to, plenty of broken field, hopefully our boys have been working on fitness

| Quote bonaire="bonaire"Doncaster would have been ideal for the two Hull clubs and Castleford
I wasnt saying its a conspiracy to choose Headingley just doubting that it was chosen because it had dressing rooms at each end of the ground.
In the current situation ask anyone in R/L which ground would have been the first to be chosen by the RFL and it would have been Headingley.
No conspiracy just fact.
Understand Huddersfield applied to host games even though they dont own the ground.'" It's SL not the RFL who chose the grounds. And as is well known the SL administration isn't particularly close to Leeds.
FWIW League Express reported, yes, that the stadia needed to have appropriate infection-mitigation controls including multiple, separate sets of changing rooms, that the host clubs only cover their costs on these games and that the real incentive to apply, apart perhaps from some residual home-ground advantage, is to give exposure to their naming and in-ground sponsors.

And Huddersfield home game is now at Headingley,

| Who cares where it is at, just glad we are close to starting again soon.
Decent start to the season, good chance of beating Salford and hopefully getting our season back on track.

| First round is at Leeds, second round at St Helens, third round at Warrington. Cup round games so far confirmed are at Huddersfield.
To be clear, Wigan didn't apply to host games.

Shaul for hooker ....can't tackle too well v the big guys but he'll be electric out of acting half. Or let him go dummy half a lot of the time ?

I just can’t wait now, after watching every nrl game with the set restart rule, think super league will at last get its excitement back! And I think our squad is primed to benefit from it, really hope our fitness is top notch. Can’t wait. Just hope the refs don’t make a complete hash out of it

Been saying this for ages
no such thing as hooker now its another half back role. The new rule makes it ideal for Shaul
He would come in as second or third tackler anyway so no problem
