Lords was sold out, probably £200 minimum ticket price last few available , approximately 30,000 some revenue. Amazing game.
The men’s Tennis final was apparently also outstanding.
Jeremy Clarkson we can agree on this

Sky news reviewer said he paid £2000 for his ticket at Lords
A bit of excitement in cricket for a change but to pay £2000 must be mad.

And what a way to decide the final, england didn’t get more runs than New Zealand, in the match or super over.
Didn’t the winner used to be the team that lost least wickets in a tie?
What happened to that ?
What a load of nonsense, victory awarded to the home team by the skullduggery of the powers that be.
How amateur and comical
Am I the only person that finds it ironical that a rugby league supporter complaining of another sport being amateurish and comical.

| Nobody has yet commented on the fact that Sky allowed it to be shown on terrestrial tv.

To be honest I tried to book tickets, but it was sold out, prices available from £ 200, I suppose watching from the pod or other exclusive areas would command high prices, but £2000 wow some shekels that.

It was great watching on channel 4, sky must be loosening it’s grip.
Bring back RL Action with Keith Macklin, super.

Yes but at least in Rugby League they are won and lost on the field.
This Fred Karnot’s circus fiasco wasn’t , the winner was decided in the stats pages, what a farce.
And now it turns out the Umpires were were in on it and adding runs to the desperate England score, The actual legit winners were New Zealand, what a tawdry loon show.
