| Us by 4 in a forward dominated game with not much skill on show . Saying that not many teams play good rugby in the opening month due to the weather and been rusty .

| Quote Wilde 3="Wilde 3"Our gamebreaker players are missing, and we don't play a brand of rugby that puts us in a position to score tries. Barge overs, or a Shaul length of field break may be our options on Friday'"
I understand them concerns but have seen nothing from KR to suggest they are any different really. When they beat us last time they scored from a barge over and a poor kick, only scored two penalty kicks in the second half. They may have the slight edge but I don't understand the vast majority thinking we will get beat comfortably. They've hardly hammered the two championship teams in front of them in pre season.

11 game losing streak and a hardly inspiring pre-season, that's why people think we will lose.

| Sadly a comfortable HKR win
A predicted left edge of Griffin and Dawson with Minichello all of whom have poor defence is a big weakness in our team.
I expect Rovers will score in the first five minutes stretching our defence and this will be what they do all the game.
Only Taylor in the forwards has the power to make a dent in their defence

Whilst I'm not overly confident about Friday given that we have a lot of players coming back from long term injuries and are likely to be missing Connor & Kelly plus we are still missing the likes of Westerman, Bowden, Green etc, also the likes of Griffin and Paea still seemingly struggling with injury.
I think we certainly need to have more options/structures as an attacking threat than we have seen in the 3 pre season games and am hoping its been a case of keeping our powder dry during preseason than having made no changes to our attacking options.
We are far too reliant as has been said on tries from the boot of Sneyd or individual skill from Kelly/Connor or a break from Shaul, as we lack the ability to break teams down in the opposition's 20 and create openings. Which makes us far to predictable and easy to defend against.
Whilst some of what Schofield says is plausible for me any credible spouting he comes up with is shot down by classing Kleinhorst & Garbutt as quality signings, Kleinhorst couldn't get regular game time in the Rhinos squad that finished in the bottom 4 and Garbutt for me is ok but no better than say Huby and certainly not quality.
Seems that if you played for Leeds you are automatically a quality player in Schofields head.
Its yet to be seen how things will pan out this season with the changes to the game particularly with the reduction in interchanges.
Are match day 17 squads going to carry a hooker or utility player just incase or go all out with forwards on the benches?
Too early to say how we will go but don't think the pre season has helped get the hopes up of a decent season as after attending all 3 pre season games nothing much has changed as in speed at which we play/move the ball, support play and options for the runner if a break is made was still awful and lacking and DISCIPLINE still not improved greatly.

Its the reason we should be pointing the finger at Radford because despite all the reported hard work of the coaching staff we fans see nothing that has changed in our play and the indiscipline which is something the coaches can eliminate has still not improved.
Without doubt Radford will go for four forwards on the bench.
On a positive note our fitness has gone up a level this pre season and may help us stay in some close games.

Hull FC 10'" if you really think that then you should be visiting the bookies you will get another 4 points start, 50/50 as nearly always in derbies a loss for either team will not define their respective seasons, fc will target a push for the top 5, whilst for rovers a push into the top 8 and hopefully no relegation threat

I understand people thinking we will lose im not confident myself but I don't think we will get hammered. Rovers defensively are not brilliant and not brilliant in attack either. They had there fair share of losing runs and if we were in middle 8s last season I would edge my bets we wouldn't have gone 11 games on the bounce losing.
They have the edge because they are fully fit and nothing more IMO.

You have 5 out injured and we have 4, Lunt, Quinlan (two of our best) Jewitt and Scruton. So certainly not fully fit at all but dont let that get in the way of your injury list.

Fully fit? How do work that out? Our Hooker and Fullback ( rated better than yours by many ) are injured plus we have two big aggressive Props missing so Hardly fully fit.
