Agree, but the I suppose you have to make it attractive for those stop gap/cover type players to want to come too. A bit of security for them and their families etc, whereas you'd not get that with a 'prove yourself' one year offer.

Looks like Leeds are looking to release players under contract including Garbutt and Cuthbertson. Shame we haven't got a quota place as Garbutt is the kind of big aggressive prop we need.
