I couldn't find any references to westerman [inot[/i playing in the kells game when we first signed him.

I've looked again, and all I see is his name on the official team sheet.

No mention one way or the other in the match summaries.

He wasn't picked for the following game, but no detail at all.

I hope Radford doesnt play Connor and Tuimavave in the halves meaning we have a makeshift centre to find.
Ideal game to play Miloudi at half back so we dont have to move Tuimavave from left centre.
If it works then we can carry Miloudi/Connor into the HKR and Warrington games without moving other players around.
The other option is to play Westerman with Connor which is what i think Radford will do.

So its clear then that Westy can play for us in the cup as its doesn't state 'A player on the team sheet' but 'A player who plays'

cant see the point moving players around when this guy is already playing half back for Doncaster.
I thought Logan was injured so if you move Tuimavave into the halves we have to find a makeshift centre.
With kelly out for another three weeks and Sneyd four weeks minimum we need a half back partnership without moving too many players around thats why playing Miloudi at half back against Featherstone for me makes sense and would give the coach an idea whether he could carry the Miloudi/Connor half back partnership into the HKR and Warrington games.
No point naming him in the squad if he isnt going to play.
As i said before we can always play Westerman in the Halfs.

Miloudi not playing in the halves would be a mistake for a fair few reasons as mentioned above, I don't want Westerman and certainly not Washbrook playing there, it'll snuff out our fitness and speed advantage and end up being a crash bang wallop affair which we don't want given our injury situation.
Miloudi and Connor all day long and this means we can rest one or two forwards including Houghton.

As for the Westerman situation, it depends on what the definition of 'played' means, if you are named in the squad to play but don't could that be construed as taken part in the event, this is a problem with the RFL, their defintion's have always being somewhat subjective/open to interpretation at times and undermines their legal position when it comes to certain aspects, you only need look at the whole Wigan salary cap debacle.
