If one looks at how professionals (in sport) approach long journeys this should never be an issue/excuse.

Indeed, "Jet Lag" is a myth created in the 70's so that people who could afford to fly could remind people they'd been somewhere exotic. A bit like how having a tan used to be a status symbol.
They are professional sports people, if Simon Cowell can commute between London and LA weekly then professional atheletes should have no problem.
NFL sides travel similar distances through different timezones weekly.
They went to Australia, not Mars! |

I am quite convinced that NFL teams most certainly do not travel circa 11,000 miles on a weekly basis and will only cover a maximum of 3 times zones.
Simon Cowell has to simply sit somewhere and listen to some music. Hardly a comparison to someone who is expected to be in the peak of physical condition. |
