Looking at their players out (although we have 4 out) I think we should be winning on Friday.

Who are our 4?......all i will say is 2013 after the cup final...they put the kids in against us at full strength....look what happens.

Wigan on Friday should be a game we should have a very real chance of winning. However for some reason the weaker Wigan are the harder they become to beat for us. They have that dogged attitude and an 'Its them against the world attitude' which works very well for them on top of the skilled art of bending the rules as much as they can during a game. We need quick PTB's and to up the speed at which we've been playing as when we pick up the speed and intensity we are a very different team. Problem is Wigan are the perfect exponents of slowing the game down when they need to and getting away with it
Wigan seem to have our number as wins away at Wigan are a very rare thing indeed.

Watts, Talanoa and possibly Carlos and Turget?

i would expect Carlos to be out if he has rolled his ankle but Talanoa may be fit.
If Talanoa is fit i would play Michaels on the right wing with Fonua back into centre.
Should both Talanoa and Carlos be out then Michaels will stay on the left wing and Radford will play Connor at right centre.

True or Lancaster to wing and Fonua yo centre....either way,we have very good options and doesn't weaken our backs,just need to turn up with right attitude.Reading the Wigan forum,their pack was going backwards v Hudds.

Is Albert fit???? - he was carrying his arm quite badly after the game on Friday and was barely able to clap his hands during the after match walk around. Hope he is fit as he has been a revelation this season, to date.

Don't think he is, did notice he carrying his arm after we'd scored but sure Radford said he was taken off for no other reason along the lines of taking him out the firing line as he was being targeted and game was not likely to be lost

Dont think Lancaster will feature for the first team this season.Unlikely the club will keep him on when his contract runs out.
Sadly he doesnt seem to have progressed very much since he burst onto the scene two years ago.
The next wing we will have coming through will be Nick Rawsthorne who has the build and pace but just needs to learn how to tackle.

How can you progress if you don't get game time at the top level.
Back end of 2015 he was more than good enough but we already brought in Naughton and Michaels that year and then with Connor, Rawsthorne being added this and the club committed to Fonua/CT/Talanoa for 2017 and Griffin's addition he and logan are right down the pecking order.
Talanoa's contract is up end of season and I think we should be moving forward, he's good at bringing the ball out of the 20 but lacks pace and his defence/positioning is suspect time for some fresh legs and maybe giving Lancaster a shot with michaels as a back up as he can still cover all the backline positions could be a solution.

Or we just resigned to signing other teams kids/players to fill positions instead of bringing youngsters through (see above)In which case that reflects badly on the system/coaches Pearson has spent shed loads of cash on.

The Wigan pack didn't have a good game v Hudds with one or two exceptions. Joel Tomkins was very good as was Romain Navarrette.
Suggestions around Gildart may return.
Wigan's injuries as far as I know - S Tomkins, Manfredi, Gildart, Burgess, McIlorum, Farrell, Bateman, O'Loughlin. That's 8 of Wane's starting 13 out.

If Gildart returns I'd expect Wigan to line up something like -

Davies, Gelling, Gildart, Marshall,
Williams, Leuluai,
Flower, Powell, Nuuasala,
J Tomkins, Gregson,
