A massive thank you to Adam for delivering one of the greatest days of our lives yesterday and a memory that we will cherish forever.

I will fully confess that 18 months ago I had some serious doubts about where we were going, but since Easter last year the club's plans and strategy have been gaining ever quickening momentum until we find ourselves in this glorious weekend.

All credit to him for keeping his nerve and sticking to what he believed was right for our great club even when some of us couldn't quite see the light at the end of the tunnel.

In Adam We trust, you bet your life we do!

Pearson's been silent in the wings for a while. Hope this stupendous entry in the history books brings him out more. Always good to hear from Pearson. Financially, as well as emotionally, he deserves this triumph.

Heard him interviewed on Radio 5 Sportweek this morning. Such a disrespectful interview....couple of questions about the game and the rest of it devoted to questions about his football connections and specifically Hull City. Heard this happen before when they get somebody on re RL and proceed to ask questions about Union. He'd have had every right to just refuse to answer the questions and ask the interviewer to focus on the spectacle yesterday.

Really chuffed for him , Radford & the players .

Got to give him credit for sticking to his guns amid much criticism. Its also been a lot better since he started to let the team do the talking and not resorting to hype in the media.

The job isnt completely done though, he needs to tempt the missing fans back and get some bigger sponsorship deals again for the club to be able to kick on and consistently compete at the top.

Has got a new big sponsorship on board this season, of this season doesn't tempt the missing fans back, then they will never come back. Was it 7000 passes this year? Should be aiming for nearly 10000 next year, I know of 7/8 who are getting passes next year who haven't had one for years.

On Pearson I've always stuck for him (although it's been tough at times), he has made mistakes, but without him I honestly believe we had potential to do a Bradford.

So Mr Pearson I thank you for saving our club and putting us on the road to success, nobody can doubt his motives and passion for this club, I hope you are here for many more years and we continue to get the success you deserve.

How much was the win yesterday worth to the club? Few hundred thousand?

I heard it mentioned that it was worth £250k to the runners up so i'd hope it was considerably more.

Cut of gate receipts, prize money, merchandise etc will probably net the club circa £250,000 (based on projections from the Warrington Chief Executive).

I think that's for the finalists, winner will get more (prize money,merchandise and ticket sales) all on the back of a cup win.

No matter happens on Friday, Wigan at home should easily be our highest non Derby attendance of the year.

It was £400k for a win in 2008 according to our CEO at the time.
