| I don't know how many fans are/have stayed away this year due to not enjoying the game with LR in charge, and not feeling I was getting value for money financially and for my emotional support.
But, I have seen enough since beating KR away, that there is a real effort to be more expanisve and more entertaining on the pitch, and that change from playing one up rugby all season before that means there will be mistakes whilst the team becomes more fluid.
That and the obvious commitment from AP in the signings for next year, and the young ones really breaking through is enough for me to get back on the horse next year and buy a pass, and I'm sure I wont be alone.
I think next year will be OK, but LR has nail it or without question he goes.
One more time round for me

If LR doesn't nail it, AP will get rid at Easter. Like you say, recruitment has been strong and despite missing some big players we've played entertaining and spirited rugby. The scenarios are either we improve (with a better squad) or don't and AP acts - he's not backed LR until the end of time after all.

| Was the game online on sky sports xtra last night? While I have taken advantage of this extra coverage for the Wakefield and saints games I bet the club's aren't happy. With online streaming set to increase it is a big threat to RL crowds

I think it was. And I agree. Clubs like us, Catalans and Warrington with nothing tangible to compete for won't be pleased.

Yes it was. Basically Brian Carney slagged us off for 80 mins, it was embarrassing. Hope he got a good night's sleep in his Leeds Rhinos pyjamas.

How do you define "nail it"? What do we need by easter to keep radford in a job?

I'd say, playing entertaining rugby, top six position, or thereabouts, and still in the Challenge Cup ( If they've changed the dates to earlier in the season).

I don't think there's a clear winner in the Friday versus Sunday debate, but Friday's bring in a lot more corporate money and usually means a better turnaround time when playing the other top teams who all play on Fridays.
I do agree with you though that playing games against teams who bring a decent following (Leeds, Wigan, Cas, Saints and Warrington are usually the only ones) on a Sunday afternoon can result in a bigger crowd, I think that Cas crowd above is our highest of the year excluding the Derby.

| Get used to sub 10k gates next season. Can't see us selling 5k in season tickets.

You could be right. The tone and content of the season pass sales pitch will be interesting and crucial. I'd be sending Ellis round to people's houses personally.

The Wakefield game the week before on the Sunday had an attendance of just 9558.

I said a year ago gates will be right down
As for Ellis, he couldnt hobble down my road. Send your mate Yemo, give him summat to do, might be able to sell a pass rather than give one away
