| I can see it been a very close game either way! our goal line D has improved massively over the last few weeks and if that's where you guys struggle we could keep it low scoring. I think you guys are generally good at home ( bar 40 mins against leeds ) and will be up for it massively, so will be a difficult difficult match.
If, and a big If (because we usually start gash) we can get on the front foot early and post some points, the pressure will intensify for you and the fans will probably start to get on back's a bit due to the morale at FC at the moment.
Ellis is a big loss, he is such a beast. Sneyd i am not so sure, as rankin is a decent larker and the less time on the ball the better for me. However him and pryce both been running HB's means one of them will have to be the organisor - i don't know who will take that mantle.
Somebody made a good point about the weather, if we can throw the ball about then i think we will be ok. Battle of attrition, your style of play suits that.

| Think it will be a very close game. Rovers are short of props and missing Green is a massive blow. We'll get a boost with the return of Allgood and Burke but still feel where a lightweight side who have the potential to be bullied by Hull so expect us to try and go round Hull and target the fringes.
We all know form is out the window so with that in mind I Predict a Hull win by 4pts

| They score tries for fun and we are the lowest points scorers in Super League.
They have pace to burn and we have one of the slowest back lines in the league.
Their half backs are on fire and we have key players missing.
They have beaten Wigan and Saints and we have contrived to lose games we should have won.
They usually raise their game for the derby but our players seem to treat it as just another match.

They have also lost to Widnes and Wakefield (Both worst than us IMO) away. And we have beaten two team tipped to challenge the top 4 at home and ran one close.
I think it is foolish to write us off (or big them up) too much.
I think we have a very good chance of winning this game if we use our brains and defend well.

This pace thing is one thing I don't understand.
If the line ups are as I expect it will be:
Dixon v Shaul (probably Dixon, but not by much, plus he's a liability)
Sio v Lineham (I really like the look of Sio, but he wouldn't outstrip Lineham)
Goulding v Michaels (Michaels is miles quicker)
Welham v Yeaman (The two slowest men in their respective back lines, Welham by a head)
Mantellato v Talanoa (Not seen Mantellato in full flight tbh, but he looks a bit of a plodder)
Kelly v Rankin (very similar)
Campese v Pryce (Pryce)
In terms of pace there's not much difference at all.

They may play Dixon at FB and he's at least as fast as Shaul. TBH I hope they do play him because Cockayne is better defensively and always plays well against us.
I guess Jack Logan would be disappointed to be thought to be only as fast as Welham, although he usually plays well against us too.

Pace is subjective, but whatever criteria you wish to use regards the players you have listed above, HKR have scored more tries, have more tackle busts and in metres gained HKR blow HFC out the water. IMO, HKR backs are a pace (class) above but if you are talking forwards then that's a different matter.
