Radford is quoted as saying Horne is our best halfback and he needs him back as soon as possible so im expecting Rankin to be dropped next week if Hornes fit

People seem to think Rankin was in and out I don't agree I thought he had a solid game put some testing kicks up I thought he used the ball well made some good decisions and was more affective than Horne his kicking was at worse as good as Horney's but for me he offers a lot more going forward a real threat not knocking rich he is reliable but is having too many average games himself nowadays I think we have to pick a partnership and stick with it for a few games we almost have to many options, Rankin and miller for me I will back the youngsters from what I have seen of them I got to say I have changed my mind thought Horney and Azza was our best options at half but not now

My aftermatch drinkies team came up with the same conclusion = Two Aussies boys as Halves - Jamie at full back - Horne centre. Who the other centre would be who knows (don't mention Yeamon to me)

Rankin and Miller should have been played together in pre season and then started the season but that was never going to happen

Horne should come back in to the team - if not at half back then at centre. Personally I would play Miller and Horne in the halves for ten games and then look at it again.

I thought they did ok and think they need to be given a few matches to gel rather than constantly chopping and changing the team.

If Horne is coming back then let him come back at centre.

Now we are out of the cup the season might as well be used to transition us into next year. Unless we are looking to sign half-backs for 2015 then sticking with Miller-Rankin for a dozen games just makes sense.

Radders seemed to point the finger at Rankin and Miller after the match with regards to their kicking game which I thought was harsh. I think they made mistakes with their kicks at times but at others they were amazing. They looked pretty solid to me last night playing alongside each other considering that was their first game together. I would like to see that partnership given a chance to succeed but think Horne will replace Rankin next week if he's fit.
