You cannot knock the effort, our defense was superb. Had the players turned up and not tried then I would have understood where you are coming from, but they gave everything. Some days things just dont go for you.

Exactly, the knee jerkers want the world but offer nothing.

What would be nice would be not to hear anything from the club's PR machine about how keen the players are to put it right/bounce back/make amends/aim to do well in the play offs. I'm sick of them talking about it; I just want them to do it.

Spot on. I don't want to hear another word from the club until they have put together a set of performances that we can all be proud of and can start singing and shouting about. Words over the past 6 or 7 years have been so cheap. People do fall for them, every one of us who pays through merchandise, tickets etc have hung onto them for too long now. We simply want to see some return on our investment. That only comes from action on the pitch not words on a website or in the local rag.
I feel sorry that some of those blokes out there on Saturday will never get the chance to make amends on the big stage. They had a massive opportunity and blew it big style. They will regret it for the rest of their lives of that I am sure. Those young enough to encounter it again will I am sure learn from the experience and I hope are more determined than ever to make sure they make amends and hopefully they will do it in a B&W irregular hooped shirt.

From a neutral point of view I thought Hull played with a lot of passion and commitment, and some skill. There were individual errors that cost you but not the whole team and certainly not intended.
You were in the final. Wigan are one of the best in the league at the moment and they were certainly favourites before the game...and it wasn't exactly easy for them.
I know it is frustrating when it seems like the team didn't show their best but I think it is unfair on those players to then demand an apology as if they planned it that way.
The Hull fans I know of old would be supporting their team even harder in the next game to pick them up, not make them feel worse than they already do.
