Had 11games in total. Had Aaron, Horne, n miller as partners(not in sequence) back n forth. So not even built a real partnership yet. Take him away we get no points at saints, lose v wire n would probably lost v Leeds as well.
Also the argument about standing out as a big fish in small pond baffles me.(Salford) surely it's harder to stand out with no platforms to work off/with.
Seen plenty of players bigged up at top teams who've been shown up at lower teams

I don't understand the complaining about his goalkicking. Yes he isn't to good at the minute but he's not our 1st choice kicker, maybe he's just the best of the rest. There's got to be some reason he keeps been given the responsibility & I doubt it's because he demands it.

Yer, give him a go and get ticks training him for rest of season. DJ is the worst goalkicker for a long time and terrible this year in SL overall. He generally has an excellent in game kicking game and has a 40/20 in him but his passes are sometimes like he's blindfolded he misses quite a few and drops a lot of ball.
I think he is an average player and there are so many better halves out there. That said, Miller will improve and showed DJ up on Friday night. When he starts taking control of games both players should look a lot better!!

I think they will be a good partnership but I was merely commenting on statements from some people saying that DJ is a great halfback and our saviour when, in fact, he is far from it!!

But hopefully Friday will have opened Gentles eyes and that he'll make the decision to give another kicker a chance..

But he will be next season will he not??

As I've said, he has and will cost us points this season with inconsistent and poor goal kicking!!

Can't believe what I'm reading, holdsworth is the most important player in our team, first name on the team sheet for me. It's completely unfair to start questioning him just because he's been out of form with his goal kicking, I mean seriously? If he kicked a few more goals at cas this thread doesn't even exist, pathetic.

Dear god, you moan about not having a decent half back combination, then you get one and some want to rewind the clock. Beggars belief.
