Thing is pal, it's his style of how he said it. He doesn't present any evidence for his claims and deliberately puts his views across in a provocative manner to try and stir it up.

I am still excited about the future, I can see a team of young homegrown players if the progress continues as it has this season for the next few years.

Both He and Crooks left around the same time Crooks Kicking and screaming and openly decrying his move to Leeds and Schofield engineering his move out. On the day Crooks left the Mail quoted him as saying " I never thought this would happen it is the only way the Club can be saved, I've been forced to leave the Club I love"

The very next day the headline on the Front of the Mail read " Schofield Asks for a move" which quoted Schoey as saying that Hull was no longer a good Club for him to play at and he didn't want to play for us again. So, the legend of Judas was born, 'pieces of silver' were thrown on the pitch every time he returned and the THreepennies really got at him! He's been bitter ever since and never misses a chance to have a pop.!

I got the chance to ask Schofield about why he left and he was quite happy to have a good rant about it. So his side of event's goes something like this.

He was in contract talks with Hull. He wanted 15k a season Hull said "we're skint best offer we can do is 10k he shook hands and said fair enough get things sorted and i'll sign. In the meantime he found out Hull had signed another player (Sott Gale I think but could be wrong cause I was a bit pi$$ed too) on 20k a season. So he thought lying barstewards and told them to shove it.
