Tough one, but if fully fit McDonnell plays for me. Although if there's even 0.01% of doubt then Shaul should play.

Good opportunity against that cats side.

The last 2 times we've played Catalans at home we've come up with a great performance, particularly last year when we had to move Briscoe to full back, which on that occasion worked, so hoping we can come up with another good showing

I'd go for Shaul at Full Back, he stepped up when asked, brilliant try that certainly lifted the team, and the crowd, on Monday. He was constantly offering support where he could, ran to the point of getting cramp near the end. For me earnt a place in the team on Sunday but will respect the decision of PG

Azza in the halves worked on Monday, would keep him there, yes he isn't a recognised half but its the best option atm and keep Westerman in the back row

The main problem for me is do we move azza back to the halves or not..

Yes times he's played there is sometimes good. But other occasions have been bad. It wasn't long ago people where calling for gentles head because azza was playing in the halves and not sharing duties with danny at hooker. Hense people asking for westy or whiting.

But after a decent display against wakefield everyones happy to move him back there.

Whatever team is played i'm sure will have a good performance, But i'd like to see shaul play even if Mcdonnell is fit. Try both lol

azza for me is not good enough at scrum half,but he is the best available option at the moment.

If McDonell is 100% fit he'll play according to Gentle tonight. No reflection on Shaul.

That's made my decision about Sunday then.

It was an interview on Sports Talk. I guess you could hear it again on iPlayer. To summarise:

Shaul has had just 2 weeks of training since the injury that kept him out for all but the first York game this season.
While he had a very good debut you have to be careful how you handle youngsters.
McDonnell was playing very well and 'did nothing wrong' before his injury.
The players vote for a Player of the Month. McDonnell won the first two. Horne won the third BTW.

In short, McDonnell is the better player right now and was in good enough form prior to his injury to justify selection ahead of a talented youngster with only two weeks of training and one SL game under his belt. But if McDonnell isn't 100% fit then Gentle has no qualms about Shaul stepping in again.
